The main one I use is not being around a bunch of criminals involved in criminal activity....its worked for 59 years without incident and does for about 99.5% of Americans. There is a about a 1/2 of 1% (.5%) chance that the average American will be a victim of a violent crime in their life. The vast majority of those happen to unarmed people because the vast majority of people are unarmed. The vast majority of those victims survive that crime without long term consequences....had they used a gun to defend themselves the consequences could be far worse that the average. There is really no logical need to be armed at all times....there are irrational fears which drive people to be strapped at the Dairy Queen when they are craving a blizzard but its not a realistic need because there is no realistic threat to their well being, on average. Again, put your self or find yourself in dangerous situations and all that goes out the window but most people do neither of these things....

Better to have a firearm and not need one than need one and not have it.

If you're an adult, and you're from Alabama, and you don't know where to buy shotgun shells, then you probably shouldn't be buying any.
This is clearly the correct answer for this

Good morning OT folks
Anyone have one of these by Auto Ordnance (makers of the the original "Tommy Guns") and still made in the US

The WWII vets would roll over in their grave for not getting it in 45 ACP but I have my eyes on the 9mm version for under $1,000

Out of stock across the board

that was true, and you can buy it at almost any auto parts shop, the caveat is you have to have a sustained average speed of at least 100mph over the course of your drive for it to be effective

Nicely done. Is that thread still around?

Long time resident of Fairhope.

Kingfisher is a must. Same owners as chimes. Very reasonably priced but will need reservations.

The blind tiger at the Fairhope pier has great outdoor seating with a fantastic view.

Great outdoor scene with live music at bone and barrel downtown. Very good food

Cool outdoor bar scene for pre dinner drinks the monkey bar is fun.

Broken egg for breakfast is a staple.

The grand is very nice and romantic but you will pay a premium. But you can visit for drinks and dinner but both very pricey. Great quality but you are paying for it. The bar "buckies lounge" has a fantastic view outdoor fire pits that fill up fast so get there early for the best seats.

Panini Pete's also a staple for breakfast and lunch. He also owns a few other places in town called sunset point and waterfront in Daphne. All solid options.

Pizza is ravenite.

Sushi is master joes or wok by the bay. Both walking distance in downtown.

Sweet tooth can't go wrong with sugar house, Fairhope chocolate and genes beans for ice cream.

As mentioned earlier Gambinos is solid Italian.

I would try air BNB for some fun downtown locations.

This guy pretty much nailed Fairhope. Was born and raised in Fairhope

Go to McSharry's Irish Pub for a drink or 10
