Longeran looks natural but true freshman. Game too fast for him.
Make him backup tomorrow. Put him in every time we have a late lead of 2 TD’s or more. Tua benefitted from this type of play as well.

Jalen Milroe looked decent vs Arkansas...like I don't get it.

It's an abject failure of the CEO, bottom line

I believe they all are better than Milroe at this point in his career.

But it took him several series to make a big play.

What I'm hinting at is... Milroe & Buchner are very similar. They both were decent in a game or two.

Buchner is better in the passing game but not to the point where his arm scares you.

The lack of discipline and toughness is maybe the most telltale sign of the decline.

The defense did hold up the first half and part of the third quarter.

They did their best. It was only a matter of time before Sark picked us apart.

Every P5 team who has had a week to prepare for Milroe starting has made our offense look like hot garbage. That won’t change in 2 weeks.

I always thought Saban would win more title and retire. I always wanted to see him go out on top, but I am starting to doubt that now. I believe he deserves to stay here as long as he wants because he has earned it with the success he has brought to the program. But what I do not want is a Bobby Bowden situation where when Saban finally retires it had more to do with being forced out and not going out on his own terms.

According to our class rankings we have the talent but for whatever reason it is no longer meeting the expectations on the field with what appears to be lack of development. Everything I continue to see is on the staff.

Yep it’s over. We will win 10-ish games per year and be on the bubble until he hangs it up.

It all started with the staff hires he made this offseason. That was a clear sign this program is in decline. When Nick Saban can’t land his top choice for both coordinators and has to settle for hiring coordinators no one else wants, it’s over, time is the only variable at this point.

Unfortunately, I do think Saban is done winning national titles. There doesn’t appear to be a national championship caliber QB on the roster or very many All-American, future first rounders anywhere else. Even if he punched all the right buttons at this point, I think you’re looking at two years minimum for a natty. And that’s a big “if.”

He’s only getting older and badass defensive players have to favor Smart and UGA right now. And great offensive talent somewhere like Texas with Sark, who’s a hell of an offensive coach.

If I’m an impartial 5 star stud, I don’t think I’m going to Bama right now.

So...a Greg McElroy?

I'd be happy to have McElroy...if you give me Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, Barrett Jones, James Carpenter, Julio Jones, Marquis Maze, and Colin Peek to go with him. And for God's sake, can I have William Vlachos to snap the ball to him?

We don't have any of that.

No he didn't. He had a couple big runs because their defense kept busting, but he was just 4/9 passing.

Incorrect. Listen to Saban answer that question in his press conference. He said he did think about it, but then Milroe put us ahead going into the 4th quarter. Who would have changed qb's then? I do think he should have changed starting the second half to see if Buchner or Simpson could do anything, but with Milroe, we outscored Texas 10-0 in the 3rd quarter.

Pruitt for defense. I think Saban got the guy he wanted in Tommy Rees for offense - and I think Rees will be good.

Bro...

I was responding to a person who said that Buchner look good vs Ohio State...I was like Milroe looked good vs Arkansas.

I know he's not a quarterback.
