They won't quit, they'll be well prepared and well coached, they'll play with heart and character...but it won't matter. They simply won't be able to score enough to keep up. We'll cover.

Clemson is our nemesis. We have to beat them. Stop the run, and see what happens. It’s what ND did the first time.

You make it sound so simple lol.

It could all be so simple... but Golding rather make it hard. Golding makes watching Alabama like a battle... where we both end up with scars.

Joking side, the fact Sunshine can run is a problem. I don't trust Dylan or Golding specifically on key downs.

We really need our offense to be unstoppable and Venrables has the mind and talent to at least cause us some issues if we don't have Waddle. Really hope he is back by that game.

We’re gonna tear ‘em up.. we’re gonna rip ‘em up. We’re gonna shred ‘em up.

Seriously, ND does not have the type of offense that hurts us. Against normal offenses we are very good.

Notre Dame offensive line and Book's scrambling will allow them to drive at will.

Think we can force them to fgs... Assuming we don't turn it over feels like a 42-30 type game

We have, what? Six first team all-Americans and three of the top five Heisman vote getters. If Saban can’t win with this embarrassment of riches, he needs to reconsider his profession.

What an odd take... With a bad defense just takes a few turnovers and the game is shortened.

I have no doubt the Irish will be tough. But I feel we pull away like the Texas A&M game.

LovetheLord,
I'm gonna pretend that you are drunk on Communion wine and cracker, that your post was something for us not to take serious.

They have a mobile athletic QB in Book, they have dangerous TEs that can catch, their OL is solid and one of the better ones nationwide. They run the ball well. Their weakness is stretching the field. They check enough boxes to cause us some problems. They’ve heard for 2 weeks that they suck in big games and don’t belong in the playoffs again. Frankly, that’s enough to cause me some concern. Do I think they win the game? No, not unless we beat ourselves. Do I think they cover the spread? I think it’s very possible and maybe even probable. And not a back door cover either but not being able to separate from them. I don’t think they will have much success stopping Mac and Co. but I think they will keep the ball away from us with long sustained drives that we continually 3rd and Golding on. That shortens the game and keeps it close. Final score 38-28.

I kinda hope we don’t cover, win by 10-15 and keeps us focused on the next one.

We also haven’t faced any running QB with anywhere near his talent. So I’m not sure we can take away a whole lot from that.

Corral was the closest. While he didn’t put up big yards, he did make some plays with his legs. Most of which included avoiding pressure in the backfield to get a pass off. Mond was the 2nd best but he isn’t very good, and this season was also his lowest rushing ypg average of his career.

They are going to try to run it down our throats. They are going to make us stack the box.

I'll be there picking up your slack.

If y'all see a crazy arse middle aged dude wearing an Alabama Hawaiian shirt you'll know it's me.

I get fricking riled up watching a game in person.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say 9 or 13 gets a pick six. I really hope the Florida game left a bad taste in the defenses mouth and they come out tomorrow hungry.

It’s not Notre Dame we need to worry about - it’s Clemson. And thank God Oklahoma didn’t get the 4 seed
