on offense. He has a big mouth but I really don’t care. He’s tough as nails. He reminds me of Ardarrius Stewart. Extremely physical for a receiver.

He’s inconsistent just like most/all of our offensive players. His antics irk me but I do agree he’s got some dog in him and after a couple seemingly emotionless seasons I’ll take it.

He is playing more like Steve Smith every week.

He’s the best route runner, but seems to do something boneheaded every week. The interception was partly him trying to make a one-handed catch…with the wrong hand.

Looked like he lost that one in the sun.

Hit him in the face mask.

Na he was well defended. Ball never should have been throw. Would have taken a Julio to snag that.

Maybe it shouldn’t have been thrown, but the ball hit him on his left shoulder. Could’ve been caught

The ball was underthrown. Left arm also looked like it was held down, he reaches across his body with his right arm on the replay and the left arm is pinned down.

Not when the DB has your arm pinned. It was just a play that happens in football

I’m not blaming him, just pointing out a fact. Not a huge fan of #3, but he’s played his tail off this season and made some big plays. I appreciate his contribution and hard work this season. Much improved this year

Burton can’t block like Stewart did. He sucks on screen plays. RMFT

Not physical like Stewart. I will say he needs to be careful because I’d imagine teams will be trying to goad him from here on out. A 15-yarder for this team could swing an entire game.

He needs one of those D dawg patches from prime. Dude is making baller catches every game and Jalen has always been comfortable with him. Jalen threw 2 tds to him last year in his start. Burton got hit a lot when catching the ball this game that's not to easy to make those catches in traffic. He's not going to be elite but he can absolutely dunk on a defense and credit to the line giving him time to get open he's not the fastest burst guy though he runs fast once up to top speed.

He's been consistent and he's bout the only one who has.

I love his antics.

Ardarius Stewart is the PERFECT comparison.

At first I didn't love his attitude; I've come around on it though. It seems like it's been a long time since we've had someone with an F-you attitude on the team and I think this years team, since they are so young needs someone like that to bring some energy and fight.

Saw coaches jumping and chest bumping players last week for the first time since Cochran left and felt like the old pre '19 killer attitude was coming back some. Seems like it's been a bunch of years where players and coaches were clinically standing on the sidelines.

Why? It'd be one thing to say they don't bother you, but what do they do for you? It'd be one thing if it were the 1980s and poor sportsmanship had the veneer of edginess, but now it's just so commonplace that it doesn't even bring that to the table.

I think Stewart had the ability to turn it on and off. I don't think Burton does. That's what concerns me, but maybe the swag will rub off on some guys.

100% our best skill player. When he came over from UGA there were quite a few Bama fans that thought he was a poor man's Metchie...not the case.

Metchie was a beast but so is Burton. Love his game.

Those antics makes some guys play BETTER. They lock in more.

I don't know if you played sports or not but I can't stand when every player is the same...you got to have a player who plays with an edge.

Using an Ex-Basketball Team Player as an example:

Jahvon Quinerly plays with a streetball type of edge to him and has the same type antics similar to Jermaine Burton...when he's not playing that way...JQ isn't locked in as much and he's inconsistent.

Nick Saban came out and said that he loves that edge Jermaine Burton plays with. Don't discourage it...embrace it! That's how he'll reach his full potential.
