Bama fans have actually been very patient since Saban left (unlike what everybody said we would be) but today was not a good sign at all (pathetic is a better word) and patience in DeBoer is over.
Stupid buyouts will probably prevent it, but Bama should just end the DeBoer experiment now and do whatever it takes to bring Cignetti to Tuscaloosa. Yes he’s older, but he probably has 6-8 good years left if he wants to. After what he’s done at fricking Indiana, I would love to see what he could at Bama.

Well we can wait and watch this for 2 to 3 more years until the buyout is whittled down to a more reasonable number, but it’s gonna fricking suck to wait that long.

We’ve seen enough to know this is what the program is going to be under Deboer. I dont feel hopeful anymore that we are going to turn a corner under him and become dominant. Going to lose 4 games a year and get our arse beat a couple of those losses.
I guess you and and the other downvoters are OK with that and just gonna be chill and watch us slide further into mediocrity.

Bama should go get Cignetti. He is the New Nick Saban and would be a perfect fit at Alabama.

It may be awhile for Deboer but we can stop the bleeding for the time being. Fire grub now. Get a competent offensive coordinator that can work with what we have and can have the offense prepared and call the flow of a game. Fire the stength and conditioning coach now. We have been nothing but soft since his time here. Bring in someone who understands what it means to win in the SEC. We can work on the defensive side in the off season

The only way we get out of Deboer is USC, Texas or Michigan makes a big run for him. I just don’t see a scenario where he would leave Indiana where he has already won a NC and has a couple big games a year to worry about for the grind of the sec.
Then it’s the age old question since Deboer got here, who is better that’s an option? Lane shitting the bed at lsu. Lanning shitting the bed at Oregon with soft schedule. Sark may get fired. I mean who’s a proven commodity that’s better?
Deboer has put some impressive recruiting classes together. We may just have to live with feast or famine with him. It’s never in between. He plays like shite on the road. He usually beats someone he shouldn’t and loses to someone he shouldn’t all at the same time.

Cochran has head coach experience now. His teams won’t play soft and come out flat. He would be a cheap hire too so we could fund the DeBoer buyout.
