I have no hate for Coach Deboer. He's a good coach. But this is his last year of grace. If he doesn't put hardware in the case next year, he should pack.

Too much has been given to tolerate mediocrity.

Sure. After all, he beat Lanning twice or something.

Saban has warped your mind.

Only school to put trophies in the cabinet in the SEC since 2020 besides Alabama is Georgia.

If you get on the firing coaches trend you will just set the program on fire.

Agreed. 3 years with nothing to show for it is the limit.

Huh? When have we ever stuck with coaches for longer than 3 years without anything to show for it?

Just a reminder, Kalen DeBoer has more SEC title game appearances than Lane Kiffin, Mike Elko, Brent Venables, Josh Heupel, Eli Drinkwitz, Clark Lea and every other hot name during this coaching carousel season.

Bullshite. He needs to make a deep run next yr. The playoffs were on a silver platter for him to take this year and he shite the bed.

I say if we miss the playoffs this year and struggle next year similar to this then he is gone next year. He gets grace for improving this year but next year he has absolutely no excuses to not get far in the playoffs. He still has some good Saban players and he brought in 2 top 5 classes. He has ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSES to not succeed next year.

This isn't ten years ago. You don't have to build a program slowly. You buy one. The University has given the money. The players are acquired. Win. That's it. No one cares about struggles and sobs anymore. Underdogs don't exist. Win or move along.

Not just make the playoffs. Get a deep run.

Making the playoffs means you are a Top 12 team. Backing in and getting bounced isn’t the standard. Especially after two straight years where we melted down the stretch.

I think he’s a pretty good coach, but the unexplainable games where we just do not get off the bus are just too much to overcome. Can’t have that leading your program and I don’t see this trend changing with him unfortunately

No idea. And I don't want to replace him. But next year is his last chance. I think he knows that better than anyone.

Kalen DeBoer and Alabama, regular season Sec champions. That’s still quite an accomplishment.

I don’t know if he’s the guy or not. Inability to run the ball is a major issue.

Of coaches that would leave their current school, I don’t know who I would want to replace him.

Also he’s not the one throwing at receivers feet and dropping passes.

But even with all that grace, he doesn’t strike me as a physical coach, and that’s how you win in this league

…But he has won in the league, and that’s what’s nuts. Jekyll and Hyde

I would think next year make the playoffs and give a good accounting.
Seat is still warm.

Miss the playoffs next year and his seat would make hell look like an oasis.
