Also saban typically keeps the staff in tact until after the February signing day. I’m not expecting any changes until then

True. I forgot about that new offer to a TE. But I doubt NSD delays any Bama staff changes. It hasn't, so far.

I don't think the lack of movement with either O'Brien or Marrone means much right now. Lots of this NFL stuff still has to work itself out and may not until mid-February. That's the NFL timeline, and it has nothing to do with signing day. Saban traditionally has shown that as long as he can have staff in place for spring ball he's good.

No ones been hired in the NFL yet over the past month. Y'all need to settle down. This isn't college football where the change needs to happen immediately, and some teams don't even have GM's yet.

"As the Plains Burn" is keeping me entertained. I think Harsin is a pretty good coach, maybe a little weird, but nothing surprising about that. Auburn should have known when they hired him he was a bad fit culturally in the deep South. Now players are hitting the portal like there's a revolving door on the locker room and Auburn is scrambling to hold the Titanic together. I'm just sitting back and watching in amusement. Bama may have not won the natty this year, but at least we aren't in the shite storm hitting Opelika right now. Grab your popcorn, pull up a chair, and see how bad it gets. If Mason leaves, it will be a huge blow. His defense was about the only thing holding that team together and competitive down the stretch. If he goes, Titanic-meet iceberg.
