Don’t consider NFL career just where they were in College.

Others to consider...

McClain and Hightower
Hightower and Mosley
Ragland and Foster
Foster and Evans

Nah. They may be very good, but not the best. Those names you listed were/are absolute animals.

It remains to be seen - BUT - I would suggest that we may have the best starting 4 linebackers that we've ever had at one time

In the current rules environment I would take Evans and Foster, although Reuben would probably miss multiple games due to targeting haha.

I want to see Henry T play in space and how Harris does making adjustments before I judge these two.

Until Harris and Henry prove it on the field all those you listed are better. I really like Harris, and I understand Henry was highly recruited but we like to use the analogy for Alabama practices, iron sharpens iron, but Henry has been practicing against Tennessee players.

Rueben would track you down from sideline to sideline.

did he ever end up missing any time for us?

If not for Hightower's injury in college and McClain's post college issues, this might have been considered an all time great pairing just shy of Thomas and Bennett.

He might serve jail time if he laid a hit on Fournette again like he did a couple years back haha.

Hightower as a freshman was an absolute freak. He lost a step after his injury, but he still was able to become one of the best LBs in the SEC, AND the NFL. Amazing talent, good dude.

Foster and Shaun Dion Hamilton in 2016 before SDH got hurt.

Reuben played during the targeting era. He was probably lucky not to have an overzealous crew on that Fournette hit.

They very well might be. I think To’ o To’o could be at better LB than Duron Carter was at WR. Scary to think about.

If Henry can cover I'll be thrilled. Our defense grew up a lot during the playoffs, Even during UF they had their moments.

It’s a tough question because the game has changed significantly since 08/09. RoMac and Hightower were probably the two most physically imposing LBs we’ve had.

Not sure how they’d fair facing the new offensive schemes that are far more prevalent than they were in 09.

Without seeing Harris and HT in action together, I’d say Reuben and Evans were probably the two best suited for current schemes but RoMac and Hightower would’ve been the best combo prior to the outbreak of spread offenses. Harris and HT have as much potential as any of the duos mentioned.l though.

Rolo and pre-injury Hightower was the scariest duo
