I have heard the same. We are locked in. I think we come out and hit them as hard as we can. If that’s enough we win.

Bama has played down to the competition all year. The only game where it was predicted to be a nail biter going into it was Ole Miss and Alabama dominated.

This is the first game that there's no possibility of playing down to the competition.

You'll see Alabama's A game, which gives them a chance to win.

Considering the talent on this team, I think it is. Which is why I feel I am being too hopeful.

I think if we can come out and get up 10-14 to zero....put a shock into them....on their heels, we will win...gotta weather their storm early where their D just suffocates and the offense goes up 24....the other team is because they know they can't score that much...we have to stay close or ahead so we don't get out if it mentally...if it's close going into the 4th, we will win because I think uga will feel the pressure and crack....just sayin

This is my thought process as well.

I don’t know why, but I feel like we’re going to win somehow.

Odds are against us, but that has its own sort of comforting effect

Cautiously optimistic.

Keys to a Bama win IMHO:

- Trey Sanders running effectively (~20 carries) with power and speed

- Bama O lining up w/2 TEs and occasionally 3 and throwing completions from that formation early - Latu/Billingsly MUST block and catch - then mixing runs/passes out of that formation

- A mix of moving the pocket and screen passes - enough to slow UGA's pressure

- Bama's O run tempo w/no substitutions whenever UGA 99 is on the bench - keep him there!

- Bama D-line effectively limit UGA runs - make them pass

- Just one NOT

- 31 needs to disrupt/affect Bennett on straight rushes - no circular blitzes, etc.

- Win the kicking game

Bama doesn't have to do all of the above the whole game to win - but they must do most of them most of the game.

If it is a 7 point game either way late in the 4th Q, Bama should win. Bama has been playing big games every year since 2008 and have built a culture of expecting to win - expecting to win is a HUGE advantage.

For some reason I have a calmness about this game that I can't explain. Very excited but not nervous. Feels like we're playing with house money at this point with nothing to lose. With hearing the media and us being underdogs, we haven't been in this type of situation probably since 2009 honestly. Really proud of what this team accomplished and I know they will give every effort to win tomorrow. If that isn't enough then so be it.

I think some of the way I'm feeling is I know Saban won't be able to do this forever so I'm really trying to appreciate this run of incredible seasons to its fullest

Hyped, because it's absolutely going to be a war. Idk who wins. I guess I've convinced myself it's a pickem.

Would be a little surprised if Sanders gets 20 carries. Wonder if he is healthy enough

I see this same sentiment amongst the more...how should I put this...realist, but not defeatist, posters.

I am pretty much there myself.

The Auburn win really flipped my perception of this team. Gutting that out showed me something. Combine that with a week of hate from the media, the talent on this squad, and the rumors I've heard about the teams focus this week...2009 UF type of game would not surprise me.

Uga vs Tenn

Defending UGA's 2021 Offense

Whats has changed for Uga is there new OC is way more creative than there last yrs.
But what UGA's is still doing is protecting Bennett from blowing it. They wont let Bennett attack the middle of the field as much when there on there side of the field.

If you notice Tenn played more 4 man fronts and like we played vs AU's running game. Its what we should do in this game as well. The Uga offensive line should not be able to handle us man on man and that's what we created (havoc) vs AU.

The one mistake Tenn made is they went to a traditional 3-4 and left the guard uncovered and cook pop it from 39 yrds on out.Cook almost broke that same run against us but got tripped up.

My Summation on playing Uga offense:
If we dont let Cook/white house it from 30-40 out and cover the TE we will limit there scoring.Uga only lets Bennett take middle field shots when there up score wise or there inside the opponents 45.Look for 50/50 balls if they get Pickens on jobe.(hoping jobe does not start)

I cant tress enough about last yrs Iron bowl and what our d-line adjusted too and played again this Iron bowl.
WILL ANDERSON PLUS 3.Man over a man,No guards uncovered. Then have Tunner & Sanders rotate on obvious passing downs and also dual relief for will Anderson.

Attacking UGA defense

I start with Tenn's first possession were they made UGA interior move more Left to rights rather than strictly running right at them.
Uga Secondary does blows coverage's with the best of them because Kirbys over reacts and changes signals & sometimes get them crossed up.Notice that Tenn got the ball out too the perimeters and mixed it up with a few inside stuff. But we can make them pay with all that one high safety.

I feel our receiving core with Williams/Metchie can make plays against them.what we lack besides great pass protection is a slash back. But those Tenn reveres ran from the slots can make up for that and again make that interior chase .That's things we easliy can also do as well.

Sub as little as possible because there big's in the middle tired easily.
Then late in the game they can be ran on.

The key to this game is really our defense not letting them capitalize on there defense giving them more possessions.Once we made it a tight game last year and scored to take the lead, swung momentum he Bennett cracked forcing throws

Getting the lead and scoring first will put pressure on Bennett not to blow it like last yrs game. One thing that we all do know is we like our % to win when we score first!.
