the spread is 6 now , i mean before the season started it would have been 3, so being a 6pt dog is not something where Vegas knows something.

Our players are better , but key ones are hurt and wont be 100 percent when they suit up

They have better in game coaches

Kiffin has matured enough to call a low risk game , and not let their QB turn the ball over with a run heavy and throws to their AA TE gameplan.

Death Valley will be loud, but Tenner gave us an idea on what thats like.

I have zero faith in our OC, and only some faith with our DC

CKD needs to take control of this thing and needs to do it now , if he doesnt then it will be a loss

Never underestimate the ability of Kiffen to shite the bed at some point and do something completely desperate and mentally retarded, especially against Bama

Lane almost can’t help himself from doing something insane from time to time. It’s almost like an involuntary reflex with him. Hopefully he does something bone headed and it blows up in his face.

I don’t know if we could be that lucky though.

She's an Indiana homer and is going to do all in her power to prop up midwestern teams. She's got a weird hard-on for Alabama. None of her logic makes any sense.

What the hell is this
quote:

BYU's loss at unranked UCF was worse than Notre Dame's at BYU.

quote:

LSU is still searching for its first true statement win, and though it has ample opportunities looming, the selection committee doesn't look ahead. LSU's win at Auburn was its first road win of the season.

Yet Alabama has a 30 point road win over number 8. By her own projection that's a better win than anything Texas has, anything Ole Miss has, and anything LSU has. LSU is 0-2 vs ranked opponents. Alabama is 2-2 vs ranked opponents, and both wins were blowouts.

When you compare those 4 two loss SEC teams, Alabama has the best win @ Kentucky. Texas has the worst loss vs Oklahoma. Ole Miss has the second worse loss getting their brains beat out by Florida. Bama's losses were to #2 Georgia by 3 and on the road @ #16 Tennessee, who I would argue also has a stronger resume than LSU. That bitch has lost the plot.

This will all sort itself out, but yes, she does need to be called out on her bullshite

she's just thinking like the committee. the committee's first rule, protect the b1g. former b1g commissioner delaney had one thing in mind when he demanded a committee, protect the b1g.

I expect us to lose. I just feel Grubb is either too stupid to realize he HAS to change the offense OR is too delusional to realize what he’s doing simply isn’t working.

The frustrating part is (at least to me) he COULD do some things to help Keelon (e.g. introduce some hot routes, quick pass to a TE, screen pass, roll Keelon out, etc). Will he do that? I hope so, but I have zero faith in him.I’d love to be wrong, though.

Without our center and Ryan I don’t expect much different than the Tennessee game all over again. If we get them back and maybe a few others we got a shot. TG for them is a monster hope Kane got some new wrinkle saved up for him.

I don't think this is a good matchup for Alabama. If Alabama wins, it will be because the team plays efficient offense and can force Leavitt into bad throws.

CBS with Verne Lundquist on the call.

Peak college football for me.

With shout out to Ron Franklin and Mike Gottfried on the old ESPN Night game after the CBS game.

One of my favorite Eli calls as well:

“Julio, left side… he’s behind the defense! 40-30-20-10-5, 73 yards, touchdown!”

I miss Verne. He was often oblivious and constantly got names wrong, but he stayed out of the way when it came to offering football opinions and was generally good about not getting over the top excited unless a play really deserved it.

I miss Offensive linemen like Landon Dickerson - full of fire and spice who would antagonize and mock the DL. Today we have turnstiles

This one will go down like the Quincy Jackson year where he caught two tipped passed for TD's and we came back and won late.

Another one to rip their hearts out.

Yhonzae Pierre let this slip in an interview:

quote:

“We’ve got TG coming back, Terrance Green,” Pierre said. “So, we’ve been working on our schemes for the defense and for them.

So, it’s going to be amazing to see what we do Saturday.”

Hope he's good to go. Losing Beaman for two complete seasons really hurt.
