You are in this for the "look at me, I'm in the know" element of it. You're no different than the other douchebags over the years who are desperate to be seen as "insiders."

No offense but get over yourself. You seem similar to so many others on Bama forums who want to be regarded as "in the know" regardless of what little you actually know.

Any insider on a forum who is as vague as Boz is doesn't prove to be useful. It's just attention whoring.

I'm not here for the popular opinion, I'm just telling you majority of people on forums who present themselves as insiders are only in it for themselves.

The older I get the more I realize how pathetic it is to consider yourself as an "insider" for the affairs or actions of a team composed of 17-21 year olds. I see those who present themselves that way as desperate for attention.

I'm sorry you see that as a "pathetic, pitiful hate-loser," but I'm just being honest a-hole.

See above post.

"Insider" of college athletics is sad. Sorry.

I’m sorry you feel that way. I just try to provide anything I hear and bring it forward in a manner that doesn’t hurt the team. As Prevatt said I’m not on here seeking recognition or fame just passing along nuggets I hear. Some of them pan out and some don’t, it’s college kids anything can happen. I love the conversations we have from the nuggets as well. Makes the forum enjoyable. Also the older I get the less I pay attention to negatively in regards to inside info. It used to drive me crazy, it does no longer. I seriously wish we can continue to have some conversations on here I’m not upset at you.

Prevatt thank you for the kind words.

Speaking of insiders.. do we know who is suspended for the Game? Or do we have to wait until Hank or Tim drop it.?

Well if Mac does start we could turn this into a positive. Going into next year, he’ll basically have 3 conference games as a starter under his belt

I am in the “ want to know “ crowd . Nobody is expecting or should for EVERYTHING to be 100% fact . I appreciate all you do Boz. For the record , I even enjoy reading “ somebody who is a friend of a friend of a janitor “ rumors

Dude, do you EVER bring ANYTHING positive to the board. You're busting on Boz in this thread. I saw where you were busting on TSurge in another thread. They contribute to make the board better...what do you bring?

Or as mom used to say..."If you can't say anything nice, just be quiet."

This is what Suttles meant when he says Alabama has lost its soul.

No, Alabama didn’t lose its soul, we sold our soul to the devil in exchange for this offense. Show me a team that runs wide open pass first spread RPO with an elite defense. And don’t say Clemson; they have a very good defense but it is inflated due to their piss poor schedule. You can’t play tough, hard nose defense if you don’t practice against tough, hard nose offense. Iron sharpens iron. It’s true, we’re just a Big XII team now with a little more love of defense. If we change coordinators and some kids grow up, we can get better on that side of the ball but I doubt we are ever the elite stop unit we once were unless we go back to run first football. Just my two cents.

I've always wondered why, it seems, teams can't have both.
Is it something to do with that they practice against each other 6 days a week?

Time of possession. And even if that isn’t skewed, defenses don’t have much time to make adjustments. A 4-5 play touchdown drive pressures a defense almost as much as a 3 and out.

It is not a coincidence that teams who have great defensive stats typically have a strong running game and grind out long drives.

It’s the number of possessions the other team gets in a game. If your opponent scores on you an average of every 4 possessions, and their amount of possessions doubles or triples, they will score more. Simple analytics.
