Are we wrong about him or something? How is he an SEC 1st team player which is voted by coaches.

Probably voted on by SIDs, so he gets it by name recognition. That's got to be it.

Leading the team in tackles with Christian Harris on the #1 team in the country. Also being the person in charge of communication is helpful.

He has also been hurt since October

Yes, and no. Its like Trevon Diggs and Xavier Mckinney last year, when they looked bad, it was glaring and looked really bad, but all in all, they all had good seasons. There were a few games where a few Moses really struggled obviously. The OM game, and the first half of the UGA game were horrendous. The name recognition/preseason lists definitely helped him.

They did not look nearly as bad as Moses has. They made plenty of plays last year.

I feel really badly for the kid. Maybe he'll be able to improve his speed and agility with more time.

Moses has too, my point is is that Diggs especially got blasted on here last year by many posters when he actually had a good year.

I'm not even saying that Moses deserves it, I also don't think that he had the type of year that deserved accolades, but usually Alabama fans are incredibly critical even if its not totally warranted. That's a fact.

I think we are used to our linebackers actually attacking blockers. He tries to move around them instead.

For sure, the bar for LB play at Alabama is incredibly high. Like Hightower said, his 2010 season after his ACL tear was difficult because of the hyper-awareness of his injury, and it showed. I'm not saying that Moses is as good as Hightower-he is not, but I think that many of his issues were due to coming off of a severe injury.

He was subpar before the injury. Bad angles, constantly out of position, poor tackling. Has zero feel or instincts for the position. He's a combine football player. He'll wow them at Indianapolis, and then that team will wonder why he's not very good.

Could be wrong, but I don't think he trusts his knee...before his injuries, he was attacking the ball much more, now he appears to be much less aggressive and he's taken out of plays much easier...

Saw some draft evals from an NFL scout on Bama's players...can't recall what site it was...he said that Moses looks like a 4th to 5th round draft pick...

Diggs only really had one bad game last year. He was decent to great in every other one. He didn’t deserve the criticism he got. He was underrated because of that.

Moses is overrated. Not by the fans but by the media.

Considering that people were criticizing Sark during the Fla. game as not being any good and that some have wanted to run-off arguably the best coach in CFB history because we don't have a 2016 type defense, even though the game won't allow for such anymore, I'd say your being quite restrained in your comments.

Impressive self-control.

The funny thing about Moses is you never know he's in the game unless you rewind a play to see who got burnt, or find out who it was you saw loafing out the corner of your eye. 9x out of ten when ive done that this year its been Moses.

Poor Moody got to play one game, and the guy flashed for 60 solid minutes, and chased the ball with max effort whistle to whistle. Led team in tackles that day I believe.

i see him coming back to improve his draft stock.

Also would he be better served as a OLB with his speed.
