Don't forget to call your Mom today if you can't go and see her in person.

I find it funny how we all call each other names then on mother's day we act like they all did a good job raising us.

I wish I could call my Mom. There’s not a day that goes by that I do not think of her.

One of my sons lives in Hawaii, the other is staying in San Antonio when we move back to Prattville next month so this will likely be the last Mother's Day we have at least two children with us (daughter is graduating high school in 10 days and she's moving back with us to attend UA).

The four of us, five if you include my son's fiancé, are doing a late lunch at a teppanyaki restaurant.

I can tell my wife is sad, but she's putting on a happy face for the kids (grown arse adults).

Did you know the last line, “I sure wish I could call mine” was not originally in the script? That was all Bear just being honest.

San Antonio to Prattville... you entering witness protection or something?

I lived in Prattville from 2017 to 2020.

I fricking hate it here.

Too hot, too many people, traffic is terrible and there aren't any trees.

Give me Prattville over this place every day of the week.

ETA: And I don't even live in San Antonio proper. We are on the far north side in Bulverde-Spring Branch.

You’ll be pleasantly surprised about how nice downtown Prattville has gotten when you get back. Solid concerts every weekend.

Downtown is pretty dope. And I’ve really come to enjoy West Main Coffeehouse. My goal is to one day get caffeinated enough to steal the suit of armor they have in there.

Adrienne's?

How close are they to finishing the two-story restaurant and bar across the water from the cotton gin mill apartments?

I read that as:

"Don't forget to call your Mom today if you can't go and see her in prison" at first glance..

I was like damn, some hard a$$ moms up in here.

It’s across the street from Adrienne’s and the CrossFit gym. A whole new little concert venue and outdoor play area called The Lyric.

As far as the restaurant, all the talk is that there remains a plan in place and timeline to getting it done but as best I can tell there’s been no progress whatsoever.
