Do We Have A Single Playmaker On Offense?

Going all the way back to 2008, we've always had elite playmakers on offense - guys that would go on to be 1st and 2nd round picks.

We had Julio, Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson
Then we had Amari Cooper, TJ Yeldon, Eddie Lacy
Then we had Kenyan Drake, Calvin Ridley, and Derrick Henry
Then we had Jalen Hurts, Tua, the rideouts, and Najee Harris
Then Bryce Young, Jameson Williams, and Metchie

Do we have anyone now?
I don't know if we have even a single draftable QB on the roster. The WRs have been entirely underwhelming.
Apparently we have a great freshman tailback?

I mean we didn't really have anyone last year either. It was all Bryce Young.

What in the absolute hell is going on with our recruiting? We're supposedly #1 every year, but look around and who do we even have?

I know this post isn't going to do much for my likability on this board, but I can't help but post my true thoughts.

Every one of those playmakers you listed, didn't become a playmaker until the season started. So.... there's your answer. Relax and enjoy the season

QB - You've literally watched only one of them play meaningful snaps since we had a Heisman winner at the position for 2 years

RB - McLellan and Williams have shown all the traits necessary to be 2nd round picks if they can continue to produce the potential they've shown us on the field before. They just need more touches to show it. From what little we've seen of Haynes, I don't see why he couldn't do the same or better. I also like Jam Miller A LOT if he's given more opportunity.

WR - Probably not a top 10 WR pick on the team, but any of the guys we have could play themselves into the 1st or 2nd round. Just about every one has shown the talent is there. Consistency and execution should really be their main focus.

I mean he was better than our other backs, but he was no Najee Harris

I think I would call him a playmaker. Averaged 6.1 yards per carry and led the team in receptions.

Ah, the classic concern troll post. Combined with a little fallish weather and it’s starting to feel like the season is getting close!

You know football season is approaching when we suddenly have a new account and a recently active 6 year old account show up simultaneously to spam the board with doom and gloom.

Yep. The shithead OP has only started posting in the last two days. Obviously a troll. Unfortunately the people who monitor this site won’t do anything.

Ty and Jalen are both big playmakers at QB. The question is consistency and turnovers, but not the ability to make a big play.

Jase is going to be a monster this year, I really believe it's his time.

We have a lot of WRs that can make a play with the ball in their hand. Getting open has been a problem. Hopefully Rees can help scheme them open. But when Bond, Law, Prentice, even Burton gets the ball - they're very good with space.

Guys, until he gets out of line we can’t remove posts with his opinion and concerns. Noted but not trolling at this point.

I agree. BOB had them running routes too close together last year. These guys have the quickness/speed to get open. Burton improved the last half of season and should have a good season.
