If Smith and Sanders keep coming along and we get anything at all out of Ray our front 7 suddenly becomes pretty nasty. I still don't trust the secondary though.

Don’t know if it matters but the 1 game we couldn’t stop the run DJ Dale played 65% of the snaps.

Braswell. I thought he showed some flashes V Miami and UF but hardly played V OM. His he banged up or is it because Sanders is playing better?

I am sure we will read he is still learning the assignments

I'd imagine they've decided that Sanders is the other OLB and he needs as many reps as possible. They don't really have any alignments where there is a 3rd OLB schemed in, so it's basically Anderosn/Sanders when we go with 2 OLB.

I had not realized that Wynn played so much against OM. I remember seeing Ray out there. But if Wynn got on the field that much, he must be doing something right in practice.

Our secondary has been good this year though?

I like this stuff. Can you do the same for all position groups or give me a link to go look for myself

If it's 24-24 with 4 minutes left in the SECCG and we have forced UGA into a 3rd and 12, do you want to see an underthrown jump ball down the sideline against Jobe or JAD with no safety help? Because I can already tell you how that story is going to end, and it doesn't involve a punt.

that's true, Kirby does like the late 4th quarter fake punt.

That was the implication.
It's not that they aren't talented or that they won't be effective over a full season. I just don't trust them to make plays with a game on the line.

Keep in mind, personnel vary based on who we play. Since we play TAMU and they real bad at running ball... I would expect Ray and Dale or Smith to play more.

Would like to see that Byron Young and Tim Smith % go up; very surprising DJ Dale gets as many snaps as he does.

Didn't Burroughs play some vs UF?

Would like to see the DL snap count basically flip as time goes on. Smith/Mathis/Young getting the most reps with Dale and Eboigbe spelling them as needed. I’ll also pass on any meaningful Wynn snaps. In 4 years I’ve never seen a play of his I thought was particularly good. Ray is interesting, TBD on what he can offer.

Yeah DJ Dale has dirt on someone.

Nope - which surprised me too. I thought for sure I'd seen him more.
Miami - 2 snaps
Mercer - 14 snaps
Southern Miss - 10 snaps
