My only question would be who would coach tight ends. Graham has only done that for 1 year (according to his wikipedia page).

Alabama’s outgoing TEs coach, Jeff Banks, had never coached the position before 2013 and was a kicker in college.

UNC had arguably the best 1-2 backfield in the nation under Gillspie, and seems he has a pretty good eye for talent at the position too.

This feels like another Huff hire, great move...

He was great at Tennessee too - both as a recruiter and RB coach. He was with Butch at Tennessee the entire tenure - I wonder how much Butch played a role in it?

Between the two of them they almost had 3,000 yards from scrimmage.

Holy shite.

I think Graham is the better recruiter of the two but Boulware does has have the Texas connections Alabama will still need to get in the door there.

I know we want to do well in Texas but do we really need those "Texas" connections at this point? I mean between Golding and Scott I would think we are good. Besides I would think with Bama's and Saban's rep you could roll out a pumpkin with a smiley face drawn on the front and script A carved in the back and we would get in the door. Also Graham spent 2 years at A&M getting Spiller and Achane.

Imagine what he could do with Alabama's seven stud scholarship running backs. Wow.

What a great replacement for Huff with a guy known as one of the best developmental type RB coach..That is also a very good recruiter as well..Would love to see his face when he steps in the RB room day one.

This RB room 2021 reminds of the 2013 room.LOL

It's not arguable. He had the #4 and #6 rusher in the NCAA in the same backfield. UNC had a hell of an offense this year.

And the UNC fans are pretty down about losing him. They really like him as a coach and recruiter. It’s always nice reassurance when the fanbase is none too thrilled to lose the coach.
