Zenitz is now saying that Sark wanted Stoops but once the news broke the backlash caused him to reconsider and Stoops will stay at Bama . I don't know if Zenitz is covering his arse but if he isn't this is why I believe this is going to blow up on Sark. Stoops is an odd hire but if they are already dictating his staff look out .

I hate taking up for media, but Zenitz is usually pretty spot on. Sark is about to let the tail wag the dog Texas, their own worst enemy

Ain't no "about" to it. I don't think the tail will ever stop wagging the dog in Austin.

Most toxic coaching job in the country. They're already meddling and when Sark doesn't win the big12 in his first season it'll only get worse. The man has turned his life around and I just hope he survives the shitstorm that is Texas football.

I hate to see it. He can get some experience, and make some connections in Louisiana for recruiting. Then, he can come back home.

I guess Saban figures he isn't yet ready. Will be interesting to see. It impacts UGA but may work for LSU . I can only assume he's a call away from returning to UA for a DC job.

A couple of coaches to keep an eye on for vacant Alabama offensive assistant jobs are Jay Graham and Jay Boulware. No final decisions have been made, but both are under consideration

Names to add to the list:

Robert Gillespie RB LINK

He's pretty good with RBs.

Jay Graham ST

Yeah. BOL (Tim Watts) is saying Gillespie and Graham are likely the two final hires.

Feel like Boulware would’ve been a great hire for recruiting purposes in Texas/Oklahoma. Little worried about hiring a coach from UcheaT with all of the allegations. Trust Saban though.

Jay Graham's all time recruits list pisses me off, cause it is like a who's who of people Bama had missed out on (and some cases landed ) over the years .

Yeah, I was interested on Boulware because of his recruiting ties in Texas. But Graham looks like a a really good recruiter himself.

And I wouldn't worry about any blow back from the Vile's investigation. If he was in trouble they would've let him go with the other coaches.

Graham was at A&M with Jimbo and landed Spiller and Achane and was the second on Vernon Jackson who flipped on us. He was in Texas from 2018-2019. Was at FSU prior.

Was he the coach that Bobby Brown waited for to show up to his commitment?
