I was confused why Bozeman didn't move there too.

Thankfully it sounds like Kelly will be back for UT

You're thinking of Bozeman.

Hassenauer is a talented guy, just really young. It was good experience for him. He's clearly the future at Center, so I guess he is officially the backup.

He'll be really good in a couple of years, one would hope

They badly need to sign a JUCO center in the next recruiting class unless there is a freshman waiting in the wings who can step in and start next year.

Can't Casher play Center?

Like was said, Hassenauer is the backup center. Bozeman was the backup last year and he too struggled when he came in in place of Kelly. Kelly goes down every year in October like clockwork.

Hassenauer is a natural center and is the future. He just needs experience and time with the first string. I'm pretty sure that was the reason we went with that last Henry run.

Pump the brakes on the anti-Hass noise.

The whole OL seemed to come unglued after Kelly went out. We couldn't run block after that.

Also, do they no longer teach to go on the ball snap. Haven't seen so many false starts in years.

Bozeman looked better at center last year than JCH did today. I've been impressed by Bozeman when he has been in; JCH not so much.

not sure what the deal with Casher is. i think he's recovered from his injury. he made a lot of noise when he first got on campus but hasnt been heard from since.

I don't remember the offense moving at all last year vs OM after Kelly went out.

You are spot on about the 2014 OM game. when Kelly got hurt the offense came completely apart and that is what lost the game.

Today's game would have been lost too except for the fact that this is not the Bama secondary of 2014.

For the hell of it, I would sit Kelly and let him rest until the LSU game

Good way to lose the Vols. If he is able, we need him. Every game is a playoff game from now on, including the Vols next week. Lose that one and the LSU game won't matter.

Kelly was shaky when he had to come in for Jones.

Saban says he is just a little woozy and should be fine. Plus we have a bye after UT.

Donkey Lips transferred before last season, though I believe he did come in for Kelly against Ole Miss in 2013?

Hass did an okay job on a lot of plays. I havent checked every play but reviewing the game drunk i paused a few times during the second half after snap and Hauss handled his guy. On play it was Pierschbacher who missed his guy and Greene on a goal line play. I didnt pause every play and another one i noticed that was a loss on the play wasnt an oline problem but a play design.
