The BLM movement wasn’t a lie, nor what the players were marching for. Riots in certain cities weren’t a good look, but that’s not why they marched.

Also saying Saban “only supported them for optics” is a wild character accusation. And I can’t really understand how anyone would justify that angle.

Select non-profits mis-using donated funds for a specific purpose does not make a movement a lie.

Also yes, the issue for BLM was specifically about a racial group being selectively targeted by law enforcement. I'm not sure what you're rambling about on the all lives matter front. Black on black violence is an issue as it relates to the poverty cycle, but the BLM marches were about a separate issue.

You're not really giving me an argument for why the movement "was a lie". You're just saying you didn't like the argument BLM was presenting.

Saban has always been a players coach he was just very very demanding. He was always going to stick up for his guys and he has always leaned Democrat.

Well the creators of BLM didn't really care about "black lives" no differently than some of you or the others in the far right.

Their moto was literally destroying family, community and other core traditions because chaos could create what they really were targeting; children, broken homes and other deviant behaviors and ideals.

They per usual in history just used black people to get to their goal.

That however is different from black people protesting against police brutality.

Even though we all know they used this to further their own desires.

This is exactly what I was getting at with my post. Couldn’t agree more. BLM - the organization and a large part of the movement - had very little to do with the betterment of our black communities. BLM - just like the MeToo movement and so many other preceding movements - was a Trojan Horse to sow social discord. And to fraudulently funnel cash to a select few.

As it pertains to OUR TEAM… fricking 6 years ago, our former coach, who is the greatest coach of all time, marched with his players in a show of solidarity over them feeling angered and upset about a handcuffed black man being kneeled on and then dying on camera.

Our players didn’t riot or burn shite down. They marched to feel like they did something in the face of a shocking excessive show of force. Our coach marched with them. We went undefeated and won a national championship.


Why we’re on about this in a recruiting thread or why some of you shite kickers are still fricking mad about this 6 years later is beyond me. fricking grow up and find some real problems in life and start looking inward at your anger instead of projecting it on anything that isn’t you and your dollar general arse way of life.
