Truth and candor? A stupid a-hole substitutes his politically driven narrative for objective reality, gets rightfully called out on it, doubles down, and he stands for "truth and candor"? Give me a fricking break. We were back in the title game again the very next year BTW. Let's hear the explanation for that one.

If by truth and candor you mean Floyd’s death being videotaped and the court case being a slam dunk with a corroborating corners report
The BLM movement wasn’t a lie, nor what the players were marching for. Riots in certain cities weren’t a good look, but that’s not why they marched.
Also saying Saban “only supported them for optics” is a wild character accusation. And I can’t really understand how anyone would justify that angle.

Select non-profits mis-using donated funds for a specific purpose does not make a movement a lie.
Also yes, the issue for BLM was specifically about a racial group being selectively targeted by law enforcement. I'm not sure what you're rambling about on the all lives matter front. Black on black violence is an issue as it relates to the poverty cycle, but the BLM marches were about a separate issue.
You're not really giving me an argument for why the movement "was a lie". You're just saying you didn't like the argument BLM was presenting.

You do realize that just because you process and see things this way doesn't mean everyone else... specifically Nick Saban sees things that way
Saban has always been a players coach he was just very very demanding. He was always going to stick up for his guys and he has always leaned Democrat.

Well the creators of BLM didn't really care about "black lives" no differently than some of you or the others in the far right.
Their moto was literally destroying family, community and other core traditions because chaos could create what they really were targeting; children, broken homes and other deviant behaviors and ideals.
They per usual in history just used black people to get to their goal.
That however is different from black people protesting against police brutality. Even though we all know they used this to further their own desires.
