But I’m curious if he’s related to Ken Simon too. Can’t find anything on that.
If he goes by Kenneth II it's possible. That would suggest that he's named after either a grandfather or an uncle on his dad's side.

It's possible. The last name Simon isn't all that common.

Recruiting is dead as a whole. We used to get a thousand pages in the recruiting megathread each cycle. Now we're lucky to get two hundred. Another victim of NIL.
My favorite movie lol

Can't wait for all the mouth breathers to formulate their Cig owns Alabama narrative on this one.

We should be ashamed for losing this battle.

I am sure I'll get downvotes, but.
He is from Indiana. They just won a title, had 3 WR drafted, and I'm sure are offering him quite a bit in NiL. Add all of those together and this doesn't seem like the massive upset most fans think it is.
I realize he grew up in Alabama, and was a fan of the school, but kids are easily impressionable, and there's quite a bit that would push him towards Indiana when he's living up there.
And of course, getting blown out absolutely didnt help. Especially when the offense we are trying to recruit him to play in, looked so ineffectual.

Since Sales/wr is the current topic, anyone know where we stand with Keon Sabb brother? Saw where he is listed as a 5 star wr, but all the talk has been about Sales.

Not sure if they lead but on Way Offsides today they mentioned Oregon was going to be a player in his recruitment.

Moshun would be a fool not to give iu a hard look.

I wish I had a dollar for every recruit over the years who claimed Bama was their "dream school" and then when it came to actually signing, they sign elsewhere.
IU had a very good team last year and whooped our asses but I'll be curious to see if they can keep it up this year. Much harder to stay number 1 than getting there the first time. Pretty sure they lost a lot from last year's team.

IU is a great example of what is important in the modern era:
1. Coaches that have a good base plan on offense and defense so they’re mostly just working on identifying keys in the opponent to help execution. How many times did IU have an early interception where it felt like they knew what was coming?
2. Experience is much more important now because no one has depth. IU had a ton of experience and important a good multi-year starter to play QB.
3. QB play is going to carry teams to the finish line much more often than expecting those pre-NIL “full team wins.”
4. Injury fortune will define trajectory.

I'm confident Cig will keep it up.

Not having a running game is an automatic L against a team like iu last year.

Cig is not Dabo Sweeney.

Cig will have them winning at a high level for the short term. I imagine time will defeat him like Saban and he’s closer to that defeat than Saban was in 2009.
