I really like Keelon Russell's confidence. Kid is expecting to win the qb job next year. He might not win in the spring but I think he'll play

If he is close to ready I hope they turn it over to him. Kid seems like a special talent .

The Mack/Russell QB battle is going to be the stuff of legends.

Nah, it's legit per Watts. NIL centric.

Has he mentioned anything about Carroll following his visit to Boulder?

They said the last 24 hours the news was very good on Carroll. Sounds like the fear has passed.
Haywood stuff is legit. They offered him tons of NIL money and he hired a NIL agent or something. We don't do bidding wars with NIL for internal culture reasons, so it will come down to his decision on what matters more.

Appreciate the info!
Awful news on Haywood, but even if he chooses Michigan now, maybe he can transfer to Bama in a year once he realizes how terrible his decision was

Would suck to lose Haywood but we still have Michael Carroll and Jackson Lloyd as OL commits.

It’s so insane that high school players are getting $10 million. We are living in the twilight zone.

Is it? Aggy, LSU, and Auburn have collectively paid coaches like $150 million (soon to be over $200 million once LSU wises up on BK) not to work for them over the last 5 years. I certainly don't agree with it, nor do I think it's even remotely sustainable, but it was also inevitable. In terms of winning at all costs the top ~40 CFB programs are not much different than NFL franchises at this point.

I somewhat understand a QB for that money (even though it's still ridiculous) but for an Olineman? That is the toughest position to transition from one level to the next

Still feel half of these are blown up to run traffic to the recruiting sites when there isn't much there lol.

So is it safe to say most, if not all the recent decommits/flips have been NIL related? One of the joys of closely following recruiting use to entail the lead up for a commit to sign and then their subsequent progress and eventual contributions to the program. This new NIL world takes the wind out of my sails.
