Nothing runs like A. Dear.

Earlier in this thread, someone said Justus Terry was on campus this weekend. Anyone have any confirmation of this?

That was me…I asked bc I had read it on a repost from J Edward Weed. I had assumed it was for the cookout but that’s the 28th so idk…

According to 247sports, Khaliq Lockhart is predicted to go to Texas. Bummer, if true.

Whew. Get a load of this frickin' dude.
Their narratives keep blowing up, and the reasoning for why Bama is still getting top players keeps getting more convoluted.
It's pretty amazing honestly. You have to admire the dedication to embrace absolutely anything but reality.

Thank you for sharing that. What a schmuck, couldn't even get any of those other blowhards to agree with that nonsense.

I think it's fair to say that there's plenty of residual effect from Saban giving the new staff a boost in recruiting, but beyond that all these conspiracy theories are fricking wild. Like I get that they desperately want us to be shite for a while now that the bad man can't hurt them anymore, but Alabama is a historically premium CFB brand in an era where that actually means something to recruits because the association with that brand enhances their ability to make money. The notion that we'd suddenly start competing with Kentucky and Arkansas for our recruits and winning 7-8 games a year was always setting themselves up for major disappointment. If DeBoer can't keep the ball rolling for at least a few years it'd be stunning. I mean for God's sake Ryan Day has kept Ohio State in the title hunt for like 6 years now post-Urban. Les kept LSU at an elite level for the better part of a decade and Saban hadn't turned them into anything close to the machine DeBoer inherited.

I’m convinced it’s a lot of 30-45 year olds that became college football fans around 2000. Their first recollection of Alabama is that 1997-2006 period.

Deboer is literally living off Souix Falls, one 9 win season at Fresno St which the QB had way more to do with the success than him, and the two year snapshot at Washington.
So… in other words his entire coaching resume?
Milroe might execute the offense well and he might not, but offensively the scheme, calls, QB development and identification will be better than they’ve been since Sark left.
Him recruiting at this level is terrifying for people because that was what they all assumed would fall off a cliff post Saban.
Haven’t even snapped the ball yet, but I promise that #1 class has people shook in conference right now.

Well yeah. But outside of that, what has he done?
Can’t wait for the season to see where these fools will turn to next. The snake will eventually eat its own tail, and the message will go back to can he prove the 2025 recruiting class wasn’t a fluke.

They also leave out how good Indiana was when he was OC there. It was the best Indiana season in modern history and they knocked off Penn St

That was in 2020 when Nick Sheridan (our current OC) was the OC there. Indiana was still competitive in 2019 though. Their offense especially that year was top 3 in the Big 10 and best one they had in a few years

Ah I thought DeBoer was there that year. My bad. That was a fun team to cheer for. Young Penix was awesome there

Indiana has never been really good at football. They've had a few decent years but most of the time, if they can get to 6-6, they're ecstatic. There's not gobs of football in the state and almost all the good players in the midwest are going to OSU, Michigan, Notre Dame.
It's just not an easy place to win or even be competitive yet CKD found a way. Yet, the booger eaters refuse to see that.
