TS can you help me try to format your list of players for the LSU board? Trying to get something started for 2020.

If you're talking about the lists in the 1st 3 posts, I created and maintain those (I keep my copies stashed on page 12). Since the 1st 3 posts are TideSaint's, I email updated copies to him so he can simply copy and paste over the entire post. I designed it to use minimal text, punctuation, etc. and I shorten the links (by cutting the players' names out of them) in order to fit within the max post size limit. Example:

4* QB Paul Tyson 6-4.5/217 AL hudl

https://247sports.com/player/46039685

https://www.hudl.com/profile/6658804

With the efficient text and shorter links, the 2nd post will max out at about 49 to 50 players.

I always laugh at this time of the year. Two weeks ago we were running 100 pgs within a couple days and posters were coming out of the wood work and screaming that the sky was falling but now we have signed who we signed and now its just the same 5-10 posters again, LOL.

This sucks.

I wanted To'oto'o to get a chance to show he is worth of that bump.

At least we still have Bogle to watch. It will be interesting to see how he lines up against Nolan and Kayvon.

I can't follow recruiting year round for the same reason I hate reality show... I hate manufactured drama.

If the lists are going in the 1st posts, whoever is going to maintain those lists should start the thread. When I update a list I email a copy of the whole post to TS so it's easy for him to copy and paste the whole post. But it's still a pain to have to email it. When recruiting is active updates are frequent.

Since ya'll have a dedicated recruiting forum, consider doing threads for each recruit. Check out the Volnation recruiting forum.

Yeah one guy came up with the target list but he doesn’t post that often. I’m saving in word as I go just for a back up.

Well that’s because there’s nothing to discuss if you don’t have a subscription or any inside information. My st of us are smart enough to just accept and appreciate the info Tidal, Saint and others provide instead of muddying the water with bull crap.

I wish they would give you the ability to go back and be able to edit. It would help you and Saint out.

We know you aren't going anywhere Sean. I guess we will start seeing the hand wringing again in about a month, J/K. You have done better lately. Proud of you.

Bama commits make ALL-USA, All-USA Alabama Teams (BamaOnLine)
quote:

Alabama commits were well-represented on both the American Family Insurance ALL-USA and ALL-USA Alabama teams, both of which were recently released. Here's a look at each Crimson Tide pledge or signee that made the cut on each team.

ALL-USA Football Team

Second team offense:

Trey Sanders, 5-star RB, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy -- Rushed for 470 yards and five touchdowns and racked up 191 receiving yards and an additional four scores in eight games.

Will Reichard, 3-star K, Hoover (Ala.) -- Connected on 9 of 13 field goals with a long of 54 yards and was 52 of 52 on extra point attempts.

Second team defense:

Antonio Alfano, 5-star SDE, Colonia (N.J.) -- Alfano's senior season ultimately earned him his fifth star as he totaled 76 tackles including 28 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks, six forced fumbles and three pass breakups.

Chris Braswell, 2020 5-star WDE, Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy -- Braswell helped lead a St. Frances defense that allowed zero points all season. The new Tide pledge had 12 sacks on the year.

Shane Lee, 4-star ILB, Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy -- A teammate of Braswell, Lee had 61 tackles and 4.5 sacks during the regular season.

DeMarcco Hellams, 4-star S, Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic -- Hellams had 91 tackles, 27 pass breakups and 10 interceptions during his senior season.

ALL-USA Alabama Team:

First team offense:

Roydell Williams, 2020 4-star RB, Hueytown (Ala.)
Amari Kight, 4-star OT, Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson
Pierce Quick, 4-star OT, Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.)

Second team offense:

Taulia Tagovailoa, 4-star QB, Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson

First team defense:

DJ Dale, 4-star DT, Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville
Jayson Jones, 2020 4-star DT, Calera (Ala.)
Jackson Bratton, 2020 4-star ILB, Muscle Shoals (Ala.)
Christian Williams, 4-star CB, Daphne (Ala.)

Special teams:

Will Reichard, 3-star K, Hoover (Ala.)

Alabama's 2019 class ranks No. 1 in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, as does its 2020 group -- which is certainly evident by the underclassmen talent represented on the above rosters.

So there is a pretty decent chance Q beats out Rashan Gary in the draft. (drafted higher). Gary was not only the #1 DT in 2016 but the #1 overall recruit. While Q was just the #17 DT according 247 sports.

I doubt it. Gary will test out very well and teams will fall for it. Hopefully not my team.

I don't know if Bogle was influenced by Miami's Bowl performance but woof! Richt got UM looking pretty shoddy both on the field and in recruiting right now.

The bad news is, Bogle supposedly has already signed with a school and will just announce where he has signed.

So the bowl beat down will have no effect.

Very doubtful. There's almost no possible way that would be kept under wraps.
