Didn’t the Webb commitment and subsequent “reaffirmations of commitment” come after the flips?

TEAM TO WATCH: Alabama
The Tide are a given to be in play for the top talent at a host of positions, and that’s certainly the case here. Nick Saban and company are seen as he early favorites to land Rivals100 outside linebacker Reggie Grimes, a four-star prospect out of Tennessee. Alabama will likely take a few players at the position, but Grimes seems to be the program’s top target as things stand now.

Cant remember, but it was all close. Either way it was a battle for traction in momentum. That stuff matters to the coaches I guess.
I know that Saban and Kirby are both genius in recruiting so I wont put anything listed as an advantage beyond them.

The flips happened Saturday night.
Webb committed Mon morning.
UGA recruits got on twitter to “recommit” or whatever.
Definitely seems like the Webb commitment and the recommitments were engineered to try and garner momentum going into ESD in my opinion

Seeing as Georgia was mentioned first by the author of this article I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it was a Georgia mod.
Rob Cassidy is Rivals' recruiting analyst for the state of Florida. Looking at his twitter and his hot takes, I don't think his predictions are based on well-sourced intel, but are more based on just reading tea leaves.

Webb committed Monday the 10th. You are overthinking this anyway.
With everybody a lock, trending or flipping to UGA I just hope we can hang on to what we have

I just thought about this are you guys going to be pulling for UGA or Texas?
Posted on 12/14/18 at 10:35 am to TizzyT4theUofA
You all want to pull for UGA. Just like I'm pulling for Bama to crush everyone in playoffs. I'm tired of people saying SEC sucks now. This conference is still a buzzsaw to make it through with no losses.

Usually I would say UGA.........this year
They won’t pull for us you can bet that, don’t care what their insiders in here say

Probably UGA but I won’t care. I don’t get overly invested in other SEC teams post season games

Meteor
Jk. Ugly, derpy game; Kirby calls fake 30-yd FG that fails and leads to Texas scoring drive that sends it to OT. Rod nails 40-yd FG in OT to win (10 yards longer than FG Kirby chose to fake).

Normally I would pull for UGA. Right now I don’t want to but I feel like I should.

I didn’t want to start a thread about it for that reason. It’s something that can just get buried in this thread.

I won't be deeply invested but will likely side with the Bulldogs. Texas people tend to grate my nerves more than most Dawg fans.
Really pulling for Lswho though!! Really want those UCF fans to shut the frick up!!
Really expecting some good news this weekend on the recruiting front.

There’s 0% chance I’m pulling for LSU. I’m pretty sure once the game starts I’ll be pulling for UGA though.

shite, I'm pulling for LSU in a heartbeat. I can't listen to UCF crap for another year.
Plus, can LSU really crow for beating a G5 school?

I don't really "care" all that much, but I definitely hope UGA and LSU win. I hope everyone in the league wins except for Auburn (same would apply to Tennessee if they went to bowls anymore).
But I mean, I'm not going to get torn up about anybody besides us.
