This class is fine. But was this freshman class(what they did on the field) not enough to curb some of this melt from certain posters?

Tua, Leatherwood, Harris, Moses, the 3 receivers, the rest of the class. This class plus those guys are an INCREDIBLE foundation for success over the next 2-3 seasons.

Seriously, what is there to complain about?

It was hilarious watching him flip between USC and UCLA a few years back with his son.

Especially since they're blatant crip/blood gang colors

I feel we got a strong class by quality, just not the quanity we were used to. It didn't help with coaching turnover, losing some relationships, an early signing period, and throw in the fact that we were going to have limited numbers, a class like this had to be expected.

I honestly don't care about the #1 class ranking at the end of the day as long as our needs are met. We need 4-6 DL (4 being the worst case scenario, likely need 5-6), 4-5 LB's, 2 RB's, and 1 QB. If we get that quantity at those positions of great need, and we finish at #4 in the rankings, I'll be fine.

I'm here to discuss the important stuff. How many people have been banned today? If no one has, then can we back count Huddie and River for today. We can't be stuck at zero on national signing day

Agree - DL went from very important to critical after today. If we don't sign any game changing type interior lineman in the next class that's possibly program altering given our reliance on it.

We have an incredibly entitled and spoiled fan base. I feel bad for whoever the coach to follow Saban is. I thought we would handle it better but if this thread is any indication, I was very optimistic and wrong.

Agreed. I thought I was on the Tiger Rant for a bit there.

If we keep Pruitt we likely sign Peterson and possibly hold off Georgia for Quay. Probably influences a bunch of other players as well.

Our downfall this period was not abusing ESD like Georgia/Clemson did. Urban was a little laid back as well for it, but it's become clear that ESD is the new signing day.

The first time we lose to unranked opponent this place will burn.

Positions that aren't RB, WR, LT, and QB? Like DT, LB, and OG for example. Sure this class is "fine", but we missed out on a lot of guys that we really wanted. It is objectively the worst year we have had in a while. If it is just the class? Sure we will live. But don't sugar coat it.

Oh, we will handle the next coach and his first 9-3 season with all the grace of a bull in a china shop.

I honest to goodness won't even get mad or blame a single person who says no thanks to this job post-Saban. It's impossible and no sane human being would sign up for it.

Also - lets just keep this in mind when evaluating the actual players in this class. Not the size of it, the actual players themselves

Even if you look at class rankings. 247 Composite Rankings.

2005-16th
2006-13th
2007-12th
2008-3rd

We drop the SECCG and miss out on playing in the BCS CG

2006-13th
2007-12th
2008-3rd
2009 3rd

We win a NC.

Even the next two titles only had sophomore & freshman in it from a nationally ranked class. We won 3 NC with the experienced players from non #1 classes and only 2 NC with players from #1 classes. But I guess Saban is to old to recruit and we only win because of talent not because of coaching
