What are the chances of Jhavonte Dean flipping?

(From @johnjackbent)

I do not expect the 3-star junior college cornerback commit in Alabama’s class. There will likely be a mutual parting of ways at some point before signing day. I expect Dean will commit to Miami, which is where he’s from, in January.

If you had to choose three more players who will sign with Alabama, who would they be?

(From @jplynn06)

LaBryan Ray, Henry Ruggs and Jarez Parks.

I asked some of the Alabama commits to submit the name of one or two recruits that would top their Christmas wish list for the Class of 2017.

LaBryan Ray, one of Alabama’s top overall targets regardless of position, was the only recruit who received more than one vote. The 4-star defensive end from James Clemens High School (Madison, Ala.) hasn’t set a commitment date yet, but when he does make his decision, it’s believed that it’ll come down to Alabama and Tennessee.

Isaiah Wilson, a 5-star offensive tackle from Poly Prep (Brooklyn, N.Y.), committed to Georgia earlier this week. He was the only recruit who’s committed elsewhere that received a vote.

Check out the list below:

5-star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy: 4-star safety DeAngelo Gibbs

5-star offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood:
5-star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon and 4-star defensive end LaBryan Ray

4-star linebacker Christopher Allen: 4-star safety Todd Harris

4-star linebacker Markail Benton: 4-star wide receiver Henry Ruggs

4-star offensive guard Kendall Randolph: 5-star offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson

3-star center Hunter Brannon: 4-star wide receiver Nico Collins and 4-star defensive end LaBryan Ray

2-star long snapper Thomas Fletcher:
5-star defensive end Josh Kaindoh

For our lurking LSU fans who think Alabama is going hard after Todd Harris:

It’s unclear if Harris still has a spot in this class if he wanted to hop on board because the Tide have a commitment from 4-star safety Daniel Wright.

I can't post over there but Harris hasn't been mentioned by Alabama sites in over a month. We are going after Deangelo Gibbs.

As you pointed out, Harris lost his spot to Wright........look at Gibbs and Christopher Henderson, in that order, as probably the last two possibilities......unless somehow Devon Hunter decided he wanted to join. Bama in a situation where it doesn't need to "fill" a CB spot, based on last years haul. If they can't get what they consider an elite player, they are willing to shift gears and take another player at another position. (Probably another DL type)

Cordarian Richardson, the #6 RB, just decommitted from Clemson and is thought headed to FSU. They already have 2 committed at FSU, hope Richardson is not a back-up plan for Akers.

Rusty still maintains Gibbs to UGA. He says he hasn't been told one way or the other, but this is more of a "follow the visits" prediction.

He commits January 1st.

Merry Christmas everybody.

We are currently in a blizzard up here in Idaho so I won't be leaving the house today.

I think my car has two feet of snow sitting on top of it.
