Didn't realize until today that Cincinnati has the #1 pass efficiency defense in the country. Pretty sure Georgia was #1 before the SECCG so I guess Alabama is the reason that Cincinnati is #1 now and hopefully will be the reason they won't finish #1.

They have the Thorpe winner Coby Bryant at one corner but their best corner is probably Ahmad Gardner who many are projecting as a 1st round pick in the 2022 draft.

With two excellent corners for Cincinnati and no Metchie for Alabama, it will be interesting to see if Cincinnati can slow down Bama's passing attack and if we see Alabama actually have more success on the ground as Cincinnati's front seven is good but not as stout as some Alabama has faced this season.

TLDR - is this the game where Brian Robinson is going to eat?

If we protect Bryce and don't shoot ourselves in the foot with penalties and turnovers, then we will be able to pass on them just fine, imo.

Did you miss the part where both of their corners are NFL starting talents?

If we can throw it all over the yard against Ga then we can do it against Cincy. Their Dline and linebackers are nowhere near as good as Ga.

With their lines being a little undersized as opposed to our SEC talent.....I would love nothing more than to see us revert back to 2012 Alabama with the ground and pound. I would love to see B Rob get lemedy million yards.

1-Bama has to make the Cincy QB struggle with having success

2-Bryce has to have a really good game as usual. JMO but I would use any of our larger receivers to replace #19. The guy isn't going to block anyway.

Yes but their secondary is much better than Georgia’s. Bamas will have to run with success and make them respect the run if we’re going to pass efficiently this game.

I think Bama will go ground and pound like they did against Ole Miss.

B-Rob with about 23-25 carries and Sanders with 15-18.

Something tells me Saban will have a game plan. I have no respect for Cincinnati, and I'm not sure why anyone thinks this game will be close or any sort of problem for Bama.

The Thorpe winner will not stand a chance against JWill. We will score at will.

100% agree. Some guys on here think we, as fans, are required to respect the opponent. The team needs to, and will, but I do not. It’s going to be a blood bath. I wouldn’t be surprised if we scored on every drive.
They could have Deion Sanders and Richard Sherman back there but if they can’t pressure Bryce(and they won’t) he will pick them apart.

Cincinnati has played some really bad teams. I don't think for a second their secondary is better than Georgia's

One of their CBs is projected a high first round draft choice. Both their corners are reputed to be stellar.

Because this team has proven it has a lower floor than any other recent Bama team. We are a few weeks removed from a 4 OT game against a shitty Auburn team, and 4 quarter fights against two average to below average SEC teams at home. Cincinnati doesn’t have to be 2014 Ohio State to knock us off if we roll out another uninspiring performance.

While this will not be an easy game, I hope we can get our other wrs some good game experience. Losing Metchie hurts a lot, but we’ve had a month to game plan and get other wrs some practice time with the 1’s. I guess it’s Holden that steps up in place of Metchie, or will we see him and Brooks mostly?

Because this team has proven they can crush even the best teams one week while almost losing to a 6-6 team another week.
