Hard to watch. But it’s just business....guy shouldn’t heckle though. I think most of this forum thinks or at least hopes that tonight was Avery’s last game at Alabama, but I think most of us have the decency not to do some shite head thing like kick a guy when he’s down by heckling him like that.

Yea. No reason to verbally abuse the guy. But he does need to be let go. Immediately.

He does need to go but I hope he succeeds in whatever path he takes! I don’t hate the man, x’s and o’s just isn’t his forte.

If I know that win, lose, or draw I’m walking away with $6M if they can me, hecklers can yell anything they want at me and throw dirty diapers at my head. It comes with the territory.

Dude has been dealing with crazy NBA fans his entire life. I’m sure he’s heard worse.

Did someone yell, “Last game (something - either Avery or baby)?”

Me either.

I've been "unbuckled" for a while now but heckling a man/team while they're down is pure classlessness.

Agreed. It's not like he doesn't want to win every game. No need to be an arse. I'm hoping for an amicable parting of ways and a new coach.

He looks embarrassed. He isnt a good college coach. Time to move on.

Really hard to imagine that a guy who had been fired twice as a basketball coach could get fired a third time...

This was always a stain Bill Battle gave us, I had hopes in year 1 but by year 2 it was pretty clear the guy wasn't going to elevate our program unless he was able to pull in huge recruits. Then he pulled in huge recruits and tanked with them...

We need a coach who can get more consistent effort out of his team. Tired of losing to weak opponents in December and it hurting us in March.

Avery Johnson is NOT a college basketball coach!
He's a professional coach...period! He's NEVER had to develope kids..they come to the NBA are already developed. Anybody who hires a college coach who's only had experience in the NBA is doomed. College and pro coaching is like daylight and dark!
