They did it two years ago to get TCU in.

Forgot about that one. This just would have been a much better playoff with teams like Bama, ole miss, scar in it..instead of freaking Clemson & smu

And the coaches did not have the team prepared for Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.

Agreed. Failing to make a playoff that has Boise St & Arizona getting byes and includes Indiana & SMU is an absolute embarrassment. I think DeBoer lasts 2 more seasons at most.

Where are all the idiots who were absolutely certain we were in last night? Props to Carlton, he had the chest to show up.

This committee spokesman guy on ESPN right now just said it was the WAY SMU lost that was the determining factor.

So we are ranking style points in a los over the actual strength of schedule?

Why are we blaming Pitt or a committee?
After the LSU game, it was clearly laid out for Alabama. Bama needed no help from Pittsburgh or s committee, just beat 3 crummy teams in front of you.
And Bama failed that simple test.
Failed.

You can thank Kalen Dubose and Wommack for not having the defense ready to play vandy... they hung 40 on the Tide... one point for every year since they last beat us. Gone are the days of dominance. Settle in for mediocrity. 9-3 and 8-4 aren't that bad.

The OU loss was much worse than the L to Vandy imo. We got bludgeoned in Norman with everything on the line.

It’s more than a QB. Some of it was awful playcalling. And then just blatant inconsistencies.

I am a devoted husband. If being wrong about who the last team in a playoff is going to scare me from a message board, I would be giving her half my stuff instead of 100% of stuff. Makes me think I am doing it wrong. I'm out chumps.

I can't help you if you don't know why Pitt is to blame. Narduzzi has been a problem from day one. Don't get me started on the Primanit's money in college football. If you don't want to accept reality so be it.

Dude. Still in. I thought Bama would be in. Work hard towards next year. There would be some coaching staff changes

DeBoer's lack of preparation for the Vandy & OU games is the only thing I'm blaming. I believe he was painted into a corner with Milroe this season but as of now we should be past that chapter of Alabama football. I don't care who left last off season or who is about to jump ship now. Going forward it's all DeBoer

Always in with Bama. Should I call my attorney back regarding my wife? I was reacting impulsively. Maybe back in
