His route running says otherwise.

Agreed. So overpaid."All disrespect will be handled accordingly."...the team didn't get that memo.
Saban created the perfect storm with the way he hired coordinators and developed them... that is why he will always be the greatest. Kirby is the prodigal son. I notice how he hires and develops. Our next coach should come from that tree... not Kiffin, not Sark... but someone from the Kirby tree, and news flash, we will never get "another Saban". We have been privileged. That is over. I hope we get the ship righted sooner than later.
Correction... "WERE" the gold standard... not "WE'RE". You had a misplaced punctuation mark. Here is the proper use... "We're cooked." You're welcome.
This... I've been saying this same thing. Dumboer had Penix at Indiana, and again for 2 seasons at Washington, along with 2 1st round wide outs. He also had Jake Haener when he was at Fresno St. that threw for over 4k yards. Penix shoulda/coulda won 2 Heismans. Mediocrity has come so quickly. No accountability for players and the integrity of the program has suffered in just 14 short games. 5 losses in the last 10 games with what was supposedly a stacked roster. Hard to watch.
Whatever you are smoking, please put it down and slowly step away...
Finally... someone has addressed that horrible throwing motion. Every time the camera panned to him, he was rotating his arms trying to adjust his pads or something. Looked weird. Throwing motion doesn't look like one that could have repeatable results. Just my opinion.
The dude that piled on and drew the 15 harder should've been yanked and chewed up. No accountability, and it starts with the lack of integrity from the top down. Kalen Dubose looks lost.

...we've lost 5 of the last 10... enough said. No mystique left. It has happened so much more quickly than anyone could've imagined. Concerning and embarrassing.
...he built nothing at Washington. He had Penix, who coulda/shoulda won a Heisman or two, and two 1st round wide-outs. He isn't built for the South. You can tell by the way he squints and his hesitancy to get in a player's face.
...we've lost 5 of the last 10... that's not "winning"...

Throne?!?! You mean the porcelain toilet we dumped in yesterday?!? We've lost 5 of the last 10... there is no throne. We command no respect. It's a sad day. No buy-out in sight. Mediocrity has settled in quickly.
Gotta suck getting beat by Michigan on the first and last day of the same calendar year... so bama was 9-5 in 2024...lol
Eventually the accountability has to fall on the head coach that never addressed #4's play. It is what it is. 8 wins with a 1st year qb next year will be a win, I guess.
Are you really going to bat for this coach?? Looks like single-digit win totals are in our future. We lost to f'n vandy for f-sakes...
...Bad losses with far less talent... don't sugar coat this coach's ineptness. We saw it all year. He looked like a deer in the headlights often. Mediocrity sucks.

Young lost twice in '22 and we missed the SEC championship and the playoff
