Brooks isn't that good... he had one outstanding game and zero catches against Indiana. He will get better, but his production doesn't really warrant a huge pay bump. I'm more interested in getting proven guys that produce. The money these 5 stars are going to demand coming out of high school, you won't have the luxury of "missing" with a signee. Bama, uga, Ohio St all get these crazy amount of 4-5 stars, but we are all sitting home watching f'n Indiana and Miami which are built through the portal. 2 QBs with a ton of starts each. Hard to go deep in the playoffs now with a first year starter, I don't care how long he has "been in the system". We are in for a bumpy ride next year. Sure, we'll most likely make the playoffs, but have no real shot at winning it with this coaching staff. Just my opinion. Hope I'm wrong.
Yeah... that's what we need... smaller lineman so we can finesse our way to 65 yards rushing per game... gtfo with that mess. Always talking "scheme" this, "scheme" that... just line up and get an f'n yard... can't do it because we are soft from the top down
Why would he come here?! He might come in 5 years if the wheels fall completely off and the Tide has 5 losing seasons in a row... he likes the challenge of a fix-er-upper
Maze is the soft one...waived by Pittsburg and relegated the the Arena league...lmfao
Maze was soft... waived by the Steelers and went to the arena league... being good in college doesn't always transition to grown man football. He was a decent kick returner in college, but couldn't cut it in the NFL. He just wanting to be relevant.

...you are delusional... put down the pipe and slowly back away
Kirby won him 3 rings, Kiffin won him another 2, and Sark came in and whispered in Mack Jones ear and won him another one. Kirby has won 2 with uga and was close in 2018, Mark was close last year, and Kiffin would've had a shot this year had he stayed. We'll just have to wait for the next round of great coordinators to come available.

A 1,000 yard rusher will help any coach be a better coach. That's kind of obvious.

As I stated first, it really comes down to coaching. Saban was the G.O.A.T. at hiring coordinators and assistants... Deboer...not so much. Maybe he turns it around or at least gets lucky in hiring competent help for the O-line and RB's

As to running the ball... 320+ across the front and you should be able to lean on defenses with marked success... comes down to coaching. Smaller, finesse linemen against fast, twitchy 300lb D-tackles will not bode well in this conference. You may be able to attack the edge easier with pullers, but then you have the sideline-to-sideline speed of the linebackers that the conference is known for. In short, KD's style isn't translating in the run game. Adapt or lose 3 to 4 games a year. Just an honest take.

Pump, pump, pump it up!
Cignetti isn't going anywhere. Why would he? He takes "Never-haves" to the Promised Land. Plus he's in the B1G where he'll be primed for the playoffs most every year.

Totally agree. They have a lot coming back next year as well as good class coming in. You don't double up on SEC championships if you are regressing. Stupid take.

He's a soft coach. That's it. That's the rub. It doesn't fit and it doesn't win championships. It wins 9-10 games, which is good, but never gets you over the hump. He has no backbone in an interview. Own your incompetence and grow from it... and get a new OC.... and new O-Line coach... and a new running backs coach... and a new wide receivers coach... and a new special teams coach... He was billed as an offensive guru and that side of the ball is extremely incompetent with a total lack of complimentary play. I'm dead on. You know it. He'll, everybody knows it after watching uga and Indiana thrash us to the tune of 66-10...

Whatever makes you feel better about the uninspired product put on the field against Indiana. Saban never lost by 35 frickin points

Agreed. As much as Milroe frustrated me, he could throw the deep ball

So sick of the " He beat Georgia twice!" He won't beat Kirby again. Deboer is soft and so is his offense. At least 2-3 more years of his weak post game press conferences after getting pummeled. Dubose was the last coach to lose by 35. Funny ho2 close their names are. Not funny that he will be our coach again next year. He is 19-8. That sucks. We didn't hire him to go 9-3
Been saying this...he's average at best. No more "He beat Kirby twice!" That won't happen again. No more "He's won everywhere he has been!". "

As a head coach, he only tallied 12 losses in 116 games... He is now 19-8 @ Bama...UNACCEPTABLE
