I now understand the term “buckle up” coach Avery Johnson uses to describe his coaching/team....MORE OFTEN than not his coaching crashes and his team crashes!
Bama needs to send this wrecked piece of garbage to the scrapyard....those seatbelts are faulty!!! Salvaged coaching isn’t getting it done!

I thought he said buckle up because things were going to get exciting. Turns out it was a trick and we are being held hostage

When the team isn't very cohesive, any time an opponent puts up a good game, Bama will fold like a cheap tent.

I keep telling myself it doesn't matter because we are a football school but it isn't working. I at least thought we would make the tourney.

No energy in the building at ALL last night! Hard for a young team to bring the energy after a big game like they had Saturday with OU. Fans have to help. There may have been 12,000+ in the building but they were silent.

They were silent because we were getting spanked at home by Mizzou.

He won't stay, but Sexton would probably benefit from another year of college basketball.

Is he better learning a year, unpaid, at Alabama or learning a year, paid, in the NBA?

I don't really think there is anything to indicate another year at Alabama is going to help him flourish at anything he might struggle with.

The crowd isn’t the reason they lost. We had the best crowd in 20 years for the state of Alabama when we played in Birmingham against Texas, but we still got beat by double digits and never really put up a fight

I’m just done getting excited over Alabama Basketball. Don’t really care if our problems are due to coaching or a larger cultural problem but it’s clear we’ll just be an average program with a shot to maybe make the tournament every few years. Our standards should be higher but maybe that’s just the way things are. Which is a shame because I was energized like crazy for this season. Every year we have a little bit of hope and it just comes crashing down. It’s just a perpetual cycle of Basketball purgatory.
