Who will be starters on next year's oline and who do you predict leaves early for NFL draft.

LT - Dominick Jackson
LG - Austin Shepherd or Ryan Kelly
C - Chad Lindsay
RG - Grant Hill
RT - Ryan Kelly or Austin Shepherd

I predict Cyrus and Arie opt for Draft. Shepherd and Arie both graduated in August and both could leave but I think Shepherd comes back and Arie enters draft with his brother.

May not qualify.

LT - Cameron Robinson (too good not to play immediately)
LG - Arie Kouandjio (I don't think he'd be drafted this year, but NEXT year could do a LOT for his stock)
C - Chad Lindsay or Kelly
RG - Austin Shepherd
RT - Grant Hill

I know a lot of the young guys are going to be young obviously but if any of them can come in ready to play even if it is just to provide competition and depth then the 2014 OL has great potential. I mean the 2013 OL was supposed to be one of our weak spots this year.

Look at what they did

AJ was sacked only 9 times. AJ as a pocket passer finished the regular season with net positive rushing yardage.

Our top three RB's finished with ypc ratings of 6.1 (Yeldon), 7.5 (Drake), and 10.1 (Henry)

Got to move Kelly to either a guard or tackle. Kelly too injury prone to play center. ACL in high school, two high ankle sprains and two sprained knees in college at bama. Not built for center.

If he is gonna start, even at Tackle, I'd like for him to get bigger. If he can't cross 300lbs, let him be a blocking TE.

I wouldn't move Kelly at all, leave him at Center.

Lindsay is replacement level, not long term. His flaws were exposed against Auburn. Even brought down the play of Steen. Just as Alfred McCullough was no threat to Fluker even after making a few starts in his, that's how I see Lindsay.

LT- Brown/Robinson(they won't hand it to him)
LG- Arie
C- Kelly
RG- Shepherd/Hill
RT- Shepherd/Hill

I thought I remember reading L Brown possibly playing guard as well. If Jackson qualifies I would love to see Brown, Hill, and Jackson all on the OL.

Cam LT, Arie or Brown LG, Kelly/Lindsey C, RG G Hill, D Jackson RT. QB will be fine.

I think the spring battles will be fun to watch especially with B Hill and A Taylor in the mix as well as some of the returners. OL Depth should be one of the biggest strengths of the team next year. With the exception at QB our offense is going to be stacked.

Would much rather see Brandon Hill at RG and C Rob at LT.

Kelly needs to add another 10-15lbs

Let G Hill/Jackson/Shepherd fight it out for RT

Will the OL improve from this year to next year?
If not I'm getting a bigger blender because I will
need some alcohol.

You mean the Oline that led us to over 38.8 points per game?

They werent great like '09, '11, and '12, but lets not act like they werent good.

I think they will be a better unit next season, though.

I predict Cyrus, Arie, Ryan Kelly, Steen and Shepherd will start the first game of 2014.

I don't think Kelly could have survived the Auburn nose tackle. No strong or heavy enough! Kelly was only effective when no one was playing nose tackle head up on him. Kelly had pretty good games against Tenn, Mississippi State and LSU. Kelly was man handled by VT, CSU and Ole Miss where he had a NT on him. Lindsay went against Ole Miss, Kentucky, Arkansas and Auburn and played well against NT.

If Kelly puts on about 10-15 pounds of good weight and plays at 300-305 (the weight Barrett Jones played at), I think he would do much better.

Auburn doesn't play a true NT, about disruption than weight. Lindsay is a straight ahead power guy with average awareness.

The entire line was manhandled by VT, and go watch CSU again. Kelly lost 2 reps out of the entire game to a 340 pound NG. Now Cyrus on the other hand, was abused by Shaq Barrett. He overpowered him in the run game, sat down on the edge with ease.

Lindsay's worst < Kelly's worst.

I don't see Kelly losing his job, to Lindsay at least.
