Yep.
If Milroe is even slightly above average on passing with his wheels we are going to the ship.

Haven't won a title under Saban without the QB winning a game or two. 2020 is the closest title season where you could argue the QB didn't have to be clutch late to win it but it was because the QB was slicing people up from the first possession.

Yeah but it's exactly what most on here do not want and we basically been told Ty Simpson has looked the best before this scrimmage.
Yeah but that’s not really live action looks. More practice scenario and 7 on 7. Easy to look good when someone isn’t right in your face. If Milroe holds it together next week I’ll be there and see it firsthand.

In all seriousness 205God has a well documented history of trolling the Round Table. I wouldn’t believe a word that he says.

If the plan is to RTDB then he really only needs to reliably hit quick game stuff and throw a good deep ball.
These days without an effective downfield passing game the running game will struggle and won’t get you to the playoffs, or win the SEC for that matter.
All that running back talent and Milroe may carry the ball more than any of them if he’s the qb.

If Milroe is the guy I'm starting to think Lonergan will be 2nd string by the end of the regular season.
A run first QB like Milroe is the worst thing for an offense with loads of skilled talent.

Manziel completed about 69% of his passes, threw about 3 times as many tds as interceptions, could read a defense, and didn’t tend to fumble the ball sway

We haven’t even seen a lick of the offense and you’re assuming that LOL please seek therapy. Milroe have some of you crying like little babies

The same thing I told y’all a few weeks ago is the same thing I’m telling you now. Milroe has been better than Simpson since April and yes that includes consistently passing the ball. I know some of you have tricked yourself that Ty is the college Tom Brady (some of you were comparing him to Tua and Bryce which should get you banned from the internet) but he’s not, not even close. Maybe in the future he will turn into that guy but he’s not now. Buchner is behind learning the offense and is starting to have turnover issues that he had a ND. He was an insurance plan and a guy that if the first starter stinks it up will then get a chance once he has more time under his belt. Right now Milroe is clearly the guy and is going to start game 1 and 2. What happens after that who knows but get used to it

Milroe looked good in practice last season too. But when the lights come on on Saturday night, he wasn’t ready for it last year. I hope that has changed. If not, we’re going to play musical quarterbacks this season like we did when Coker was QB.

One thing we all know is the QB 's that have hurt us in the past have been the ones that could run and Milroe can sure do that..get after him at your peril.
Posted on 8/13/23 at 5:23 am to phil4bama
The problem was Coker was the better quarterback but what everybody didn't know was that he was practicing the entire off-season with a broke foot.

Qbs that could throw and run have hurt us in the past. I can't think of one QB that was crap passer, but great runner that had a lot of success against us.

The qb will need to win some plays throwing the ball and not cause turnovers against the better SEC defenses, which are a lot of the teams on our schedule. If Milroe is the guy, hopefully he can do that. If he cuts out the turnovers and makes passing plays he’ll be hard to stop when teams back off the line.

I saw Milroe last year and am not impressed with his downfield passing game. All 3 of those tds vs A&M were short passes that the receivers scored on. He has completed 56% pct , isn’t good reading the defense and checking down to receivers, and is prone to turning the ball over.
If Milroe is qb all season you can expect an offense similar to what LSU rsn last year. Short passes and lots of qb runs and scrambles. They went to the SEC title game but were blown out and lost 4 games overall.
You seem kind of clueless about current SEC football, or perhaps you’re a troll.

I'd be curious to hear how snaps at LT are being divided bewteen Pritchett and Proctor
I've been reading that Proctor started at LT in the scrimmage.
