In addition to Bama flairs, we really need QB flairs this offseason

I don't expect Lonergan to win the job this year but I do have high hopes for him down the road.

Yeah we haven’t had one of those in a while.

I’m telling you guys. There is something about Buchner. I have this feeling he is going to thrive at Bama. I have no evidence to back this up.
I truly like Milroe though, I talked to him after the AM game for a bit. What a good kid, seriously. He loved talking to my dad who is an old ball coach. They talked about plays for like 30 mins. Dad gave him a little bit of advice it was hilarious.

Milroe throwing mechanics need work .. he has a rocket for an arm though
Has that first read not open take off mentality too
Would like to see Ty get a shot before he bolts.
Bob didn’t help these boys one bit though.
Sark had people running wide open and we abused people with the rpo slant during his time. All while still having Najee run all over people as well.
Without Jameson’s speed BOB would have never schemed a single other wide out open.
Bryce was having to read the defense himself and change plays the entire season .. can’t remember a season we had so many snaps so late in the play clock. Then he had to run around for 30 seconds so somebody could break off their route to get open.

I appreciate the optimism. But there is no reason to buy into that. He hasn't been on campus long enough to know if he has some sort of "it factor" and he didn't exactly light it up at his former location.

And we didn't roster Minshew so he could take a roster spot for no reason before coaching. He was depth
I swear this is as maddening as the Jalen Vs Tua spring but now we've added a wildcard to the mix
Absolute chaos until the opening game

Been watching some "game in 30 minutes" super cuts of the 2022 season. I'm telling y'all they would have went 12-0 in the regular season just by eliminating player discipline and conduct penalties. Especially on defense.
Alabama is going to have a far different offense this year so if the discipline and player conduct isn't cleaned up then we're going to have a rough time watching them this Fall.
I suspect the problems started at the top. Saban empowered two coordinators that either had one foot out the door (BOB) or was preoccupied off-the-field bullshite (Golding). Hopefully the coordinator change is all that is needed.

Does your pops have an opinion on Buchner, or any of the other guys for that matter?

This is the key thing people are glossing over.
Not one of our QBs including Bryce Young, developed the last two seasons.
We have wasted so damn much with that moron

I showed him some film on Buchner and he made a few comments. Said he is more athletic than you may think and that he isn’t scared to get drilled in the pocket to make a throw.

Yup. He is indeed an old school ball coach.
I wonder if there was something else going on at ND that Rees thinks would get fixed by a change in environment.

Not sure if it was against tOSU or USCe but he was definitely not afraid to sit in the pocket and get decapitated in order to make a throw. Speaking of which, in the film I've watched, that ND OL is fricking horrendous and should be ashamed. If they don't improve this year they will get Hartman killed.

I am. Not going to deny it. I hate those dudes and I'm also mad some of us who pointed it out for years were demonized for it.
