I used to love the Arby's 5 for 5 deals in the early 90s.

But, that was when their roast beef wasn't flavorless and schit quality

I also remember when you couldn't (shouldn't) eat more than $10 worth of taco bell menu items.

I miss having a Krystal around. Their 5 for $5 deal was legit on late drunken nights.

A lot of people don't know this, but Krystal breakfast is damn good.

Krystal breakfas

The chicken Krystal was a staple hangover cure in college for a 9 am class. Although, the Hardee's chicken biscuit is hands down a better option

They used to make a breakfast sandwich on just toast. I love a good biscuit, but not with every breakfast. I hate that they took it off the menu.

They had this until the mid 2000s. I ate roast beef sandwiches at least three times a week.

Arby’s Horsey sauce is absolute fire!

Krystal was the ultimate wind down from a night of drinking food. Hell yes to all of the things, including the chili cheese fries that I kept going back to even with the poor results the following day.

Quick Grill was the ultimate if we are talking about Tuscaloosa. But Krystals is still fire on a late night in small towns.

My wind down food was a big gulp sized cup of boiled peanuts from the BP at the end of my street(Reed Street.) So much sodium. So tasty.

I lived on Reed Street in the upstairs of a house, but probably way before your time. At that time it was spelled Reed on one end of the street and Read on the other end.

Interesting quote from Saban today:

Nick Saban on the SEC Coaches Teleconference says Drew Sanders likely would’ve been a starter for Alabama this season.

Yeah Clint said he believes it would have been at inside linebacker. Probably part of the reason he transferred as he is set on playing edge.

Ah, interesting. Would have loved to see him at ILB with his athleticism.
