Anyone think our OL will be any different after the bye? I’m trying to keep my hopes up that Owens moves back to Center and someone like Latham can handle RT. A stronger OL would transform our offense.

Maybe put Kight at RT and Ekiyor at C, with Brown at RG.

SI write up on ‘the moment’:

In Sideline Moment, Nick Saban and Bryce Young Display the Humanity of College Football

While societal pressure impacts each and every one of us on a daily basis, Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young has handled that pressure admirably on a much larger stage.

I also think Dalcourt would be good at G. It is hard to snap and get a push on the LOS. Owens was driven back most games at C and so is Dalcourt . Takes a lot of power to get a stalemate with basically one hand . Lot easier to just fire out and not have to worry about the snap

I dont think Dalcourt has the power to play OG.

Cohen and Neal have had success woth combo blocks this season so i like the idea of keeping them together. There was some talk years ago about Ekiyor playing center but that never materialized. Not sure who else we could really olay at guard. Brown has worked there some but he's more of a OT. Havent heard a word about Terrence Ferguson this year, he was our big recruit at OG last year.

If nobody else can step up, i think our best option is to swap Cohen and Owens. But it's just amazing to me that we dont have. RT on the roster. Brockermeyer and Latham were apparently highly overrated coming out of HS. A damn 5 star should be ready to play.

We have 17 scholarship OL players. Maybe Neal (LT), Cohen (LG), Ekiyor (C), Brown (RG), Kight (RT) is our "best five" group. Kight (6-6.5/315) is listed as our #2 LT. So maybe he's a better option than Owens at RT. I'm just skeptical we're actually starting our "best five" combination.

O-Line (16+1^)
Gr: C Owens*^
Sr: K Randolph*
Jr: T Brown*, E Neal, E Ekiyor*, D Dalcourt
So: T Bowles*, P Quick*, A Kight*, J Cohen
Fr: D George*, S McLaughlin*
Fr: T Brockermeyer, J Brockermeyer
Fr: T Ferguson, JC Latham, J Roberts

Hell i forget about Randolph. Can he not play RT? He's got the size, he's got experience. He should be serviceable.

Hell Randolph was rumored to be pushing for the RT job at the start of the season and has gotten no chances yet… weird

Keep it simple. Keep both TEs on the field and 2 Rbs along with Williams as the only WR. Should have the blockers when needed and easy passes when needed as well.

That's speculation.

You said lot of freshmen are upset? who else?

it may not be about football. It could be something else.

First of all, Burroughs is not a freshman.

Well the tweets from Burroughs and Hall are definitely football related … if you see something else in them , then so be it

Not starting a debate about playing h so and so. Just pointed out what they said

Is this photo 'shopped, or is one of Bryce's parents secretly Bigfoot? Because that leg hair is off the charts.
