Players can't sign NLIs after April 15. So JTT will probably sign an aid agreement with the school he chooses.

Yes JTT is the player from Washington. He is waiting to see if the NCAA will stop extending the dead period so he can take official visits to Ohio State and Bama since he has never been to Columbus and his parents have never visited either school. While most people sign on what is considered National Signing Day which is the first day of the signing period, players can sign up through the end of the signing period which was extended from April 15 to August 1 this year.

@Surge the signing period was extended to August 1.

It never gets old....

Photos: Looking back on Alabama's incredible national championship season

Spring practice is quickly approaching for Alabama after another national championship in 2020. But before that gets here in the next couple of weeks, Roll Tide Wire decided to take one more look back at that epic title run.

the schools that are loving not spending money on visits are going to keep pushing the ncaa to continue extending this. it may take some recruits suing the ncaa to get back these visits. just a thought.

Can't he just sign aid agreements with as many schools as he wants?

He can still sign an NLI after his visits.

Rush Propst wouldn't know much about the goings on at UA but he probably holds a bit of a grudge never having been able to get a job at UA even as an analyst.

That aside, that whole thing was edited many times. He was obviously being led into certain comments and who knows what was edited out that might give more context.

Bottom line, no, I'm personally not concerned about it.

eta: you know about Probst's history. Right? It's kind of like testimony from criminals in a court of law are pretty often considered invalid.

Look up “snake oil salesman” and there would be a picture of one Rush Propst. He has a long history of indiscretions even before Hoover and “Two a Days!” He is no “beacon of integrity”.

Propst is the very definition of arse-hole. I knew guys that played for him at Hoover that despised him. He wins but at a very high price.

i noticed the editing also. i told my brother, probst was proly grinding an axe with saban for not hiring him.

yes i get that probst is a snakeoil salesman. he literally admitted in the audio that hes giving extra benefits to players, funny money, as he called it.

There was an Auburn fan on the rant who played for him and loved him. Used to jump in and defend him anytime someone pointed out any of Propst's character flaws.

Can't remember who it was, though.

It was probably Rush Propst disguising himself as a former player.

probably the best gauge of a sports story, or non story in this case, is how much pub it's getting on the major sports sources. It may change at some point but so far, which is now 2 days later, there has been nothing.
