Going into the bye, Bama has the highest graded QB, WR, C, DT, and CB in the SEC according to PFF

Anybody think Kirby might be sandbagging and will trot Daniels out there either to start the game Saturday or the minute they start to go sideways?

I don't. I believe the smoke that his knee is still kinda f*cked up. If they thought Daniels was good to go, I imagine they might not have been so concerned with the rumors of Mathis entering the portal.

Anything is possible, but I think if Daniels were both physically capable of playing in a live game and performing better than Bennett in practice he would have come in against us after we took the lead.

Are you sure you don’t just want to go down to Curtis and Sons and start an exciting career as a funeral director? Nate was doing it for a while. Don’t know if he still is.

The word is that Daniels never intended to play at Georgia this year. That is why he transferred to Georgia with Newman already there.

The Georgia staff cleared him, but his family doesn't want him to play and risk injury again before giving the injury plenty of time to heal.

The issue with Newman is he had contact with an agent and Georgia didn't want to risk playing him.

From what I’m gathering Daniels is not 100%, may not even be this season. They are kind of at that moment where it’s to late to bring him in. I could be wrong but they likely wouldn’t consider putting in Daniels against UF.

That just doesn't make any sense to me. If the surgery goes well and rehab goes as expected, there is zero explanation for a 19 year old college athlete needing 18 months to recover from knee surgery. Most can do it in 6.

That he is! He came up to me once while he was still here as a student and slapped me on the back and said, "hey coach! How are you doing?" Without thinking, I cursed from the slap across my sunburned back. ZI then told him that he was the first elementary kid to ever make me cuss!
He has a heart of gold, but he often lets his mouth run before thinking about things though. He parlayed his Mr. Aggies status into a city council position. Imagine that!!

Does anyone know the practice schedule this week and/or schedule for Saban press conferences? I know they have today off to vote, but are they going to be practicing the rest of the week? Weekend off? Just curious.

The key part of that is 'if all goes well.'

He allegedly had another procedure done in the spring. If it took two tries, I could understand the reluctance to take any chances.
