Barmore is a beast of a DL. No doubt he plays with a mean streak. Last yr he seemed a bit outta control as far as being overly aggressive sometimes. I guess some players get aggravated here and there, we’ll see I guess if cooler heads prevail.

Assuming that Waddle replaces Ruggs, does Dovonta fill Jeudy’s role or stay where he is? Feels like Smith can play just about anywhere
Jeudy played slot 75% of the time. Waddle should replace him.

Barmore practiced yesterday, so that's a good sign. Hopefully he accepted the challenge.

we have to keep in mind, that cns tries to cover every scenario he can possibly think of that might arise.

So far. SMU vs TCU, NCS vs VaTech, Tulsa vs Oky State, LaTech vs Baylor, Marshall vs E Carolina, FIU vs C Florida, Temple vs Navy, have either been pushed back with a restart date or cancelled because of no mutual bye week. All coming from positive plus contact tracing from COVID. Rough spots.

I guess one good side to this is, these games were OOC games and not in conference if I'm correct. Pete Thamel and Stewart Mandel were like two giddy school girls pronouncing the cancellations on Twitter.

Any word on how Roydell Williams is doing?
Just happened to be thinking about him yesterday, and can't recall hearing any recent news.

I think he's running co-third team with Brian Robinson, behind Najee and Sanders. Seems like I remember reading he had a long run in a scrimmage or game-type practice recently. He's doing pretty well, I believe.

Do the guidelines still not allow for a subsequent negative test to overcome the mandated 14 day quarantine for what they have defined as high risk exposures? Because if not then I really don't understand why y'all are so optimistic that this season will last very long. If they decide to only quarantine guys who actually test positive then I think you'll have teams without some starters here and there but it will otherwise be OK. If they're going to exclude kids who actually test negative because they were too close to a positive for too long though? shite, all it will take is one lineman testing positive to wipe out 20 players for a couple of weeks.

There's been a lot of chatter on BOL that Roydell has been pretty impressive.

He had the longest run in the last scrimmage.

I read 10 for actual positive tests and 14 for the high risk contacts.

Crazy that a positive would mean less time than a possibility...

Yeah I know. My concern with it is what happens if Mizzou's RG tests positive the Monday after we play them? Because based on those guidelines basically our entire starting defensive front 7 plus all the backup D-linemen we rotate in are done for two weeks even if all of them test negative on Wednesday. Doing it that way really doesn't make a lot of sense to me if they are being serious about having a season because every positive test from a guy who plays along the LoS is going to knock out a ton of players on two teams.

As odd as it sounds there is SOME logic behind it. The guy that tests positive is in the middle of the process. The exposure hasn’t started yet so they want to wait the duration of the incubation period for symptoms to appear which is 14 days. Of course they could test after a week and be completely comfortable that a negative means clear but that would be too easy
