God do you ever shut the frick up? I honestly thought AHM21 or whatever his name was was the worst poster on this board but you're seriously making a run for his title.

I can barely open a thread in this place without you acting like a smug jackass in it.

What you quoted me saying is 100% true.

Let's just keep any opinion pieces and responses on Pete Golding and whether he is good or not out of this pinned thread about general news and info on Alabama Football.

Seems like a reasonable ask, but what do I know.

First, you're wrong. Boz didn't ban people for disagreeing with him. He banned people for being toxic and derailing threads.

bullshite. I was banned for it.

quote:

Second, accusing someone of posting "a bunch of false stuff" when you're providing partial information makes you a hypocrite. Boz did report "C-/D+", which SOG confirmed he heard as well from another source (not Boz). So you demand absolute accuracy except when it comes to you, not a good look.

I never demanded absolute accuracy or anything of the sort. I merely questioned the logic behind all his Golding rumors and was banned for it. They plain out did not make sense.

quote:

Third, no one here needs you, AssHatMan, Bamabenny, MrMojoRisin or any of the other Boz whiners to save us from Boz posts. So let it go. You aren't doing anyone any favors; especially yourself.

Wouldn't care except his rumors are taken to be fact constantly and then have to be debated against. To this day people still believe it was Golding that called the Clemson game 2 years ago rather than Tosh.

quote:

I will give you "lazy and goofy" was hopefully misused for sloppy and disheveled. I would agree that Golding probably isn't lazy or goofy, given Saban's known work habits, demands on his staff and Golding's recruiting ability probably eliminates the goofy. But I've never met Golding in person, so I wouldn't really know. I wouldn't call people "fricking idiots" for not agreeing with my perspective though.

He also blamed Tua's dad for his Tua information being wrong - even though his original rumor didn't make logical sense to start with. Supposedly he told the coaching staff he was staying 2 days before his big medical examine that would determine how well the surgery was. But when it didn't come true, rather than just up and say it was wrong, he slings mud all over Tua's family.

quote:

Chill, relax...being toxic only undermines your position and allows people to discount your opinion due to the presentation of it.

I'm blunt and being on the unpopular side of an argument is my favorite place to be.

Everyone: Just ignore the Boz posts if you don't like them.

Also everyone: Ban this motherfricker because I don't like what he says!!

I've seen a few that have had him in the first.

Lot of people are still in love with his elite size and run defense.

Good! And it's a damn shame it didn't stick.
You have every right to say whatever you wish but do you have to ruin this site for the rest of us?

I don't post much at all but I'd like to read real conversations here without the attitudes of a 10 year old invading every post.

He's a top candidate. David Ballou and Chris Dawson have also been mentioned. It appears Saban isn't in a big rush, as this hire is pivotal in the S&C program being updated significantly.

Wilson Love is the same age that Scott Cochran was when hired in 2007. And arguably more experience than Cochran at the same stage of their career.

Saban wasn't in position to poach the top coaches in the country 13 years ago. Now he can.

saw him on the sidelines a couple of years ago. oNce I found out who he was i was glad he left with Kiffin. I would rather have Jones then Love. I suspect there are a handful of people NS is going to consider. And if love gets the job over current people then I could see issues. not even sure why anyone even brought up his name

Yes he was. And it wasn’t like he didn’t try. His first choice was who he hired at LSU in 2000, Tommy Moffit.

But there’s usually a typical pattern to all his hires. Familiarity.
