Did Tua get good news from the doctors in New York yesterday? Is he gone too now, a day after he supposedly told coaches he is coming back?

Ruggs and McKinney go from 100% staying to gone in a day? Insider info seems a bit...... Questionable

Truth is if we get Moses, Leatherwood and Smitty back with the young talent on this team, we should all throw a party. Anything above that is gravy.

With the recent coaching rumors this is what our staff could look like.

OC/QB: Sarkisian. No one's perfect, but really no reason for a change here.
OL: Flood. O-line seemed to make solid progress this year. Opt for continuity here.
RB: Huff. Expected a bit more on the recruiting front, but really no need to change.
WR: Wiggins. There's been some griping about him on this board, but is there really a reason to make a change here?
ST/TE: Banks. Not the difference maker we had hoped for?

DC: tbd. Derrick Ansley seems a solid choice. Lots of Alabama history, fits the Pruitt mold, which is what Bama desperately needs.
DL: tbd. Tosh Lupoi is intense (which is what we need) and has plenty of D-line experience. Elite recruiter. Fine by me. Opinions are divided on Bo Davis on this board. Some love him as a coach AND recruiter, some only as a recruiter.
OLB: Sunseri. Proven commodity on the field and as a recruiter.
ILB: tbd, but probably Kelly if Ansley gets the DC job. Kelly has some experience with LBs, while Ansley's forte is DB's.
DB: Scott is officially the CB coach. Not sure how good he is, but he's an ace recruiter. Ansley will have to double as DB coach in addition to being the DC. He's worked with some of the best DB's in recent Bama history.

Looks like a pretty solid staff to me, both as coaches and as recruiters. I'd love to get Glenn Schumann on board though. We really need to focus on our ILBs and he could be groomed by Saban as our future DC.

I know that he keeps getting dogged, but I think he has done an excellent job on ST. I think we had 4 punts blocked this year. Waddle has looked electric. Plus, he has been a good recruiter in TX. We had kicking issues before him, so I can’t say that it is his fault. Just my thoughts though.

There’s been some suggestion as well that we need to have a dedicated holder instead of using our QB to hold. I do think there is something to that in terms of developing a rhythm and comfort level with a guy that you can work with consistently in practice.

Umm, He doesn't look legit. Lot of guesses here and there. This one caught my attention:

According to #sources, #Giants brass is currently en route to New Orleans to meet with Baylor Coach Matt Rhule ahead of Wednesday's Sugar Bowl appearance. A deal is likely to get done and Rhule will be the next coach of the New York Football Giants wooof wooof woof please credit.
