Yea and it makes me realize how good saban and staff are at evaluating talent. Every year it never fails, we take a commitment from some low ranked recruit that makes certain fans question the staff then that recruit turns out to be a stud. I am glad saban and staff aren't star chasers like some of our fans appear to be

I think Will Anderson, branch, and jones -bell are a bit underrated and will see valuable PT next year. Kirby didn't try to snag those guys last minute for no reason. Will Anderson one of the top pass rushers, branch may end up being the best safety in the class and thau Jones bell is similar to waddle but a step slower

If we didn't get burned by Gilbert and pulled Rakim Jarret like alot of people thought we would this could have been my favorite class

Will Anderson was highly rated before these practices.

I wasn't talking about will anderson in the recruiting comment. He's been a beast the whole process. I'm talking about the jamil Burroughs and DJ Dale's of the recruiting classes

barrett jones should have made that list as well, his awards.....the Outland trophy as the nation’s best interior lineman (offense or defense) in 2011, the rimington trophy as the nation’s best center in 2012, and the william V. campbell trophy -- the so-called “Academic Heisman” -- in 2012.

Rice and Fitz had VERY dominant years in college, NCAA records and trophies between them.

Fitz's '03 was insane for the time, especially as a sophomore.

Randy Moss had a better year than Fitz did and he did it in 1997.

I just don’t like those choices as the WR

The problem with these list are that there's too many choices. Rice had records in the 80s that weren't broken until 2006, Fitz still owns the record for 18 consecutive games with a touchdown.

All 3 of those guys specifically are gonna double dip as both college and NFL HOFers, their latter careers just shine brighter.

I think as a whole the NFL is weighed into their thoughts on this list over hardware(i.e. name recognition), along with obviously having AA honors.

Opposed to guys like Pat Fitzgerald, who was 2x AA, 2x Bronko Nagurski Award, 2x Chuck Bednarik Award, and 2x B10 DPOY. And he wouldn't even be a thought for a lot of people...

This list is absolutely terrible. Off the top Derrick Thomas and Barry Sanders are not on the list. Both have had the greatest season in the history of NCAA for their position. DT has more sacks in a season than LT did in his whole career.

@Boz, any thoughts on this report? LINK

But I think right now, the chances of him returning to Alabama, from what I’m hearing from people close to him, are very, very slim.”
