Isn't Dan Enos the coach that left the program without Saban knowing it until the next day?

Yes. The offensive staff was in a meeting and Saban lost it when Enos didn’t show.

That was a great catch by Burton but an absolute dumb throw by Jalen. Burton was bracketed three defenders. Jase was wide open on the right side.
Pretty sure #81 Dippre was also wide open past the sticks for an easy conversion.

Jihaad Campbell Named Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell was selected as the Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week after his efforts against Tennessee.
Campbell, a sophomore from Erial, N.J., exploded for a career-high 10 tackles in the Crimson Tide's come-from-behind 34-20 win over No. 15 Tennessee. He picked up a Joe Milton III fumble and raced 24 yards to give Alabama a two-score lead and ice the game.
Campbell added a tackle for loss (-4 yards) with six solo stops. Played a key role in shutting out Tennessee in the second half and just 129 second-half yards and just 33 rushing.

When 3 guys are covering the targeted receiver, somebody else was definitely wide open.

quote:Saban has addressed this and they don't feel like they miscalculated. They think JC is best at RT, a position with which he is very familiar and at which he will likely play at the next level. Said that Bama would face the same issues at RT with a switch. Etc.
speaking of the OL can anyone explain why Lathem was not moved to LT, which is the normal move when the LT spot is open. The blindside has hurt us badly this year.

I saw the same interview with Saban. My impression was that he was responding to the question of why they're not moving Latham now. It's obviously too late now to make a switch, for the reasons he stated. Nowhere did I hear him say that Latham couldn't have handled the position change if it had been made back in the Spring, or even early Fall. Now it's possible they did evaluate Latham then, and came to that conclusion, but at this point it doesn't matter. We have what we have. Proctor seems to be slowly improving each week, I think his ceiling his high, once he gets better conditioned and more experienced, he may surprise a lot of people.

Seems pretty obvious to me that Proctor needs to lose a good 20-30 lbs in the offseason and once he works on his quickness/strength, I think people are going to be amazed at how much he will have improved.

Did we run more RPO this past Saturday? Seems like we did, of course we could've just been more effective at it which made it seem so

Yes we did. Milroe made wrong reads in 1st half and corrected it in 2md half

Saban just said they’re sticking with Kool-Aid on his weekly SEC teleconference.
Posted on 10/25/23 at 1:57 pm to CapstoneGrad06
Why? I mean he's a fantastic DB and used to be a good punt returner, but he's clearly got the yips. He's afraid to field anything. We'd almost be better off just not having anyone back there and rushing with an extra man if he's just going to matador everything and give up 20+ yards of field position.
