OL gave up 6 sacks and we had more carries than yards.

We won that game because the QB many don't wanted, stepped up and threw for over 300 and could have had 400 if not for drops and a couple inaccurate throws

That and because Aggie had a flawed defensive plan. They sold out to control the line of scrimmage - and did - hence shutting down the run game and spying for Milroe. But the flaw was, they couldn't stop the long ball and keep that plan.

If we can clean up the stupid self discipline stuff, we can coast to ATL. We have to play with fundamental sound discipline

I don’t think this team is capable of any coasting. Any of the remaining SEC opponents could beat Alabama if the OL continues to sputter. Especially the opponents with competent offenses that could simply get us swamped in a 2 score game in the second half with a sorry OL that can’t pass protect.

How long have you been watching college football? Lesser teams beat better teams literally every single week.

We should handle Ark and TN unless Milton plays the game of his life against us.

I’m worried about LSU, Daniels is playing out of his mind and I’m not sure we can score with them if the game ends up in the 35+ range

LSU may have the worst defense in the SEC at least. But yeah, Daniels will give us trouble like mobile QBs always do.

Maybe I’m crazy, but yesterday’s game was very encouraging to me. We were a couple of penalties away from blowing it wide open against the best defense in the SEC besides us and Georgia.

Dumb penalties kept them in it and really that’s all. Halftime adjustments were nearly perfect.

Yes sir, I agree. Milroe and Burton were lights out. And our defense is awesome

This team can be very frustrating to watch offensively when they are doing dumb self inflicted things, but they don’t quit fighting and seem to get better as the game goes on. The effort is there just got to clean up the mistakes and miscues.

The No. 11/10 Alabama football team continued its winning ways with a 26-20 road victory Saturday at Texas A&M. With the victory, the Crimson Tide improves to 5-1 overall and sits atop the SEC Western Division with a perfect 3-0 record.

Quarterback Jalen Milroe had a strong showing in his first appearance at Kyle Field, throwing for a career-best 321 yards on 21-of-33 passing and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Jermaine Burton was the main beneficiary of Milroe's passing attack, as he finished with nine catches for 197 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Isaiah Bond also had a strong game, closing with 96 yards receiving on seven catches and touchdown.

The Crimson Tide defense continued its impressive play this season, and especially in the second half, allowing the Aggies (4-2, 2-1 SEC) only three points and 103 total yards of offense after intermission. Defensive lineman Tim Keenan III stepped up to lead the team with eight tackles and a sack, while Caleb Downs added seven tackles and an interception.

I was encouraged also. They were not going to let us run the ball. The adjustments at half time were good. The o line pass blocked well the second half, and the best d line on the field in the second half was Bama. Milroe is getting better. If you can’t feel any joy after that win I don’t know what to tell you. Far from perfect but we fought yesterday and found a way.

High ankle sprain but I don't think a time frame was given for when he might return.

Injury excerpts from yesterday. Didn’t realize Burnip came back in as a place holder
quote:

"Malachi's got a twisted ankle," Alabama head coach Nick Saban said after the game.

"[Burnip's] got a pulled muscle in his leg," Saban said.

Burnip returned to the sideline after his initial exit, but did not return to punt. He did, however, complete his duties as placekicking holder after his injury.

Saban did not provide timetables for the returns of either player.

Additionally, right guard Darrian Dalcourt did not start the game due to a shoulder injury, per Saban. In his place, guard Jaeden Roberts saw his first action of the season.

On the returning from injury front, linebacker Deontae Lawson and guard Terrence Ferguson both dressed out after missing last week's game against Mississippi State. Ferguson did not play, while Lawson started and recorded five tackles and a pass breakup.
