Personally I think Auburn gives UGA a game this weekend. I've been extremely unimpressed by Beck and UGA. Mews is awesome though. Bowers has not been much of a factor at all this year and they don't have Washington to help balance that out. McConkey has been hurt. UGA's D is not nearly as good this year either amd their secondary looks shaky again.

I also picked Arkansas to beat LSU 37-31 but I was wrong on that.

I'd love to see Auburn beat UGA but I don't see it happening. They played much worse than the score indicated vs A&M. Of course, if the game is in Auburn, you can always count on the "magical" calls from the refs to try and tip the scales in Auburn's favor.

You also have the weirdest luck in that stadium that ALWAYS goes Auburn's way. I normally don't believe in luck, that generally we make our own "luck" but on those weird, freak occasions where it really is just dumb luck, it ALWAYS goes Auburn's way. I don't know if they made some deal with Satan and sacrificed a goat before every game (which wouldn't surprise me) but they get some freakish luck.

Have you seen the Barns offense?

They have the worst offense in the whole South, including FCS, DII and DIII

Najee had 3 carries against FSU in the opener and then 13 carries the next week against Fresno State. Justice hasn't had a carry in 3 straight games.

Henry didn't get a lot of carries early on, but he was also behind 2 future NFL starters.

It will be a slow first half, but UGA rolls Auburn in the second. Their offense is historically bad

I would love to go into JHS at the end of the season and skunk them. They were horrid on Saturday and their defense is riddled with injuries.

Milroe should watch this video

sorry for the Instagram link

And I say he needs to watch it because running QBs naturally have an involuntary reaction to not stay in the pocket, and take off, and even Hurts, who is a star in the NFL, still has trouble with it.

But he just has to trust the protection and fill the positive space in the pocket, don't be timid about taking a hit, and find his dudes down field. There will usually be someone open to throw to.

And Milroe has done that this year, but just needs to be more consistent with it, and he'll be just fine.

When is the last time a highly recruited RB got so few carries and a) stuck around or b) turned into a great player?

I don't think Jam or Haynes will be going anywhere. First off they are two plays from 1A and 1B in the backfield. Plus Both McClellan and Williams could both leave next year. Williams, bless his soul if he stays likely won't be able to hold off these two because they are more dynamic so really I expect them to be the primary rotation either this year should we have an injury or next year for sure. We have had RB's leave us but in those cases they were looking at more like 2 years of bench.

Najee was the last. I think He even talked about considering transferring

Cali kid, was homesick. Not the case for Haynes.

Who was the highly touted RB who came here a year or two ago and then transferred out? Somebody here (Cobrasize, maybe? Carlton?) was really excited about them.

Curious how that player is doing now, wherever they are.

not sure where to put this so i'll put it here.
i hate this deal with reporters dragging a coach away from his team during a time out, to do an interview. before, at halftime or after the game sure no problem at all. but not during. maybe the people that made the decision to do this should start getting pulled out of meetings to do interviews. i hated it when they started it in basketball and i hate it even more in football. let these coaches do their jobs!

That and anticipate throws/throw people open. Unless it is just a "throw is as far as you can" type throw he just doesn't anticipate the route/throw to a spot hardly ever. He waits until the the receiver is open and tries to put it right on him. This causes him to hold on to the ball way too long and stare at where he is going to throw for way too long. And the few times he does try to anticipate/throw to a spot it often goes horribly wrong. I'm not saying this is an easy thing to do or that most college QBs are good at it (they aren't), but the passing game is going to continue to be limited if he can't get better at it.
