Saban should run the first drive out of wildcat with no QB in just to troll us.

The entire drive? No. The first play? That would be be hilarious. Especially if he starts off his presser with how good of a job he thought Jase or Roydell did in his first start at QB.

Interested to see how the running backs perform with a better OL.
Also, if Proctor is legit, we are going to be hard to break up front.

Good for Jalen. Hope he serves up a fat helping of crow

Milroe bout to drop 200 passing and 75 rushing with 3 TDs before Saban yanks him for Ty.
Well… I better not assume that Ty is #2 but something like that might get downvoted around here

I watched a YouTube video last night of all the snaps Milroe has taken while at Alabama.
The kid has the potential to be an absolute monster. He reminds me a lot of Vince Young while he was at Texas minus the confidence.
If he gets that watch the frick out.

Dude can be electric at times. I’m ready to sit down with an ice cold beer tomorrow and see what these kids have been working on. God knows I couldn’t do any better!

No that’s way too simple. We gotta make sure the debate continues at least 1 more week. We need;
1. Good sequences of passing against an overmatched defense
2. Some jaw dropping plays with his feet
3. An int they may or may not be his fault
4. Some rough patches that may be Week 1 kinks but may be real issues

Saban said on his show last night that the QB1 for Saturday is "the starting QB for that day," and that they want to play several other guys. Pretty much challenging Jalen to leave no doubt he's the starter and light it up so there's plenty of game time to get a look at the other QB's.

This is why I don't understand the people who are just adamant about him not being any good. Maybe he won't be, but the potential to be really good is clearly there. He's built like a tank, he's got a strong arm, he throws a really nice deep ball, and he runs like a deer despite being built like the aforementioned tank. Does he have some issues that present cause for concern? Absolutely. If things click for him he could put up video game numbers though. Viewing him with anything other than cautious optimism and wait and see approach is a bit foolish.

Vince Young is an excellent comparison. I think he's a little faster but not quite as big. Both have a little hitch in their throwing motion, but that can be worked around.
I will definitely be rooting for him.

quote:if jalen hurts can turn into what he became, i dont see why anyone should doubt that milroe can be good or even great. not sure if people are remembering just how incredibly limited he was as a passer for us, now hes one of the better nfl qbs. i dont see that milroe is a worse passer than hurts was when he was first starting. we nearly won a championship that year

I'm about to go home and work the rest of the day from my couch. I want to watch a past Bama game on youtube. Which should I choose?
