I got invited to practice Saturday . I wasn’t going to go but I’ve decided too because this QB shite is bothering me.
Let me be the first to ask ...
Boz, are you going to the scrimmage Saturday?

Rodney Orr reported all 4 guys got first team reps at quarterback yesterday.
Saban let's you see what he wants you to see. It's T minus 10 days. They're installing the gameplan. Two of those guys put on scout team jerseys as soon as the media was shown out.

I'm watching Saban's press conference now and he said whomever starts that's not the end of it. Then he went on talking about if a guy starts and doesn't play well that doesn't entitle him to remain as starter. I think Saban is more than fine with taking this QB competition past the Texas game.

Coach Saban was absolutely talking about Drew Sanders with a certain question in that press conference.

I was thinking Aaron Anderson. Drew Sanders would make sense too

Giving 4-5 QBs equal opportunity is a great way to show future recruits that just because Alabama is loaded with 4 and 5 stars it does not mean that you won't get an opportunity to contribute early if you do the right things.

Also a great way to keep anyone from hitting the portal.
I think it's pretty clear that Saban is going to let Milroe start the season as the starter, and I think that he also expects to replace him at some point with someone better. He's kind of alluded to this multiple times at this point.
I think he's basically of the mind that Milroe is a good answer right now, but we need to find the QB who is actually better and can take us all the way.

I was thinking JoJo, thought he’d be like Waddle.

I was watching the practice highlights from the university. I realize running routes on air means nothing; but in terms of the way the ball comes out and popping off the hand, it seems Ty is leaps and bounds better than the other two. Again, I realize it means nothing if he cant do it in live time, but in terms of what I can see, it wouldn't be close.

Barring injury, I think Milroe is going to start against MTSU
Yea I think we have at least 3 scrimmages on record that had Milroe with the ones. However, the Texas game could end up being a Blake Barnett “start” for all we know
How nuclear will this place go if the offense comes out like this against MTSU

For those who can't listen to the press conference, and don't know what the comments above are referencing:
A question was asked about the transfer portal and how it's impacted player development, specifically around the wide receivers. Saban declined to name any names, but he said since the portal started, there's only been one player who surprised and disappointed him by transferring. He said he didn't understand the decision.
For all the others, he essentially said that Alabama wasn't for everyone, and losing a player via the portal gives the staff the opportunity to replace the player with someone who wants to be there.

Speak for yourself, I'd love to see one of our WRs actually catch the ball EIGHT times!

The problem we are going to have is deciding how much to run the ball.
We run too much and we have to explain to these 4-5 star receivers why they aren’t getting targets.
It’s hard to change offensive styles in the transfer portal/NIL era.
