From someone on BOL that they seem to trust.

quote:

The team had a great week of practice but will be short handed this weekend. They will be without 10 players this weekend due to injuries and covid. Many good players but no starters other than Waddle. The second team will be short handed with offensive and defensive players out. Most of the players will be back by Auburn.

I asked Charlie Potter earlier this week and he said from his sources he can confirm no starters out.

From Kyle Tucker, UK beat writer at The Athletic

quote:

Per source: Kentucky football could be without as many as 16 players tomorrow at No. 1 Alabama due to a combination of injuries and COVID issues. Long odds get much longer.

Matt Jones from KSR said 4 starters are part of that group

By the way, is the SEC ever going to decide what they’re going to do about the Alabama/LSU game or are they just hoping everyone forgets about it?

It appears the SEC is waiting for more potential postponements before rescheduling games.

Got to get the Bama vs AU game in the books. LSU doesn't matter.

Updates on LaBryan Ray, missing players from pregame warmups (BOL | segments)
quote:

-- Defensive end LaBryan Ray (elbow) had a brace on his left arm but is dressed out and going through pregame drills. He appeared to be limited, however, and the first-team defensive line in pregame warmups were Phidarian Mathis, DJ Dale and Justin Eboigbe...

-- I didn’t see Darrian Dalcourt, Jah-Marien Latham, Shane Lee, King Mwikuta, Pierce Quick, Kristian Story, Paul Tyson or Stephon Wynn in warmups...

Wow. Those are some talented back ups who sat out yesterday. Hopefully everyone is good to go against Auburn.

depth chart shows a lot of people played.. It looks like some third string OL got in the game too.

I have to say, I was quite impressed with Billingsley. Hope we can get him on the field more.

Per a reliable insider, all injured (except Sanders & Waddle) and quarantined players who missed the UK game are expected to be available for the Iron Bowl.

Me too. Didn’t see his blocking ability (wasn’t paying attention) but if he can get stronger , he can be a TE like IRv was for us going forward

I expect Auburn to run the ball pretty well on us Saturday. I feel they’ll have production like they did in 2018. I also anticipate that Gus will pull out every trick play he’s got. It’ll be a frustrating game, at least for the first half or 3 quarters.
