What would 19.3 PPG have ranked an SEC defense just 10 years ago?

In conference only games? It would have ranked #2 in 2010.
We led PPG allowed in 2010 (SEC games only) at 17.9. LSU was #2 at 20.6.

I just figured with scoring on the rise, perhaps that the scoring defense would have been way down years ago.

It would have ranked #4 in 2011.

Pete Golding hasn’t given up a TD in a month. He is gonna be around for years to come.

Not too shabby, but my eyes tell me our defense would get ravaged by an elite offense. Like obliterated. Even worried what aubie will do to them.

This can be said for any defense tbh.

The same is true for just about every defense in the FBS.

This!! Everyone thought that Georgia’s defense could possibly be one of the better defenses in the last few years, and they have looked horrible against elite offenses and even struggled against a Miss St. offense, that was playing kids from Meridian Middle School.
