Because Jackson has been so super successful?
If you like regular season wins, he's your guy. If you like playoff wins, not so much.

The fact that Lamar Jackson has won regular season MVP trophies speaks to the quality of qb play in the NFL, not his greatness.

I’m going to predict he plays in the bowl game instead of opting out.

I think the fans deserve to see LANK one more time. Plus he probably wants his Michigan revenge

GMs that want to draft him for his potential and athletic ability should look at how the Colts screwed themselves taking an unproven Richardson. He's been awful with a sub 50 completion percentage and a ton of turnovers.

You can expect the same from Milroe. A future Richardson or Justin Fields not Lamar Jackson. .

Would be smart for a team to draft him and use him like the Saints do Taysum Hill. Single read or QB keeper all the way whenever he comes in.

Also, I'm not sure if most on this site have watched much NFL this year, but the QB play has been awful overall. The league is starved for QB's, so Jalen will have that going for him at least.

A franchise drafting based on athleticism and hoping they can crack the code is Milroe's best chance.

If he had a great final game, would it possibly help his resume and draft status?

If he had a shitty game, would it possibly hurt his resume and draft status?

Why risk it Jalen? If you're reading this.

I think what the fans deserved to see is currently in a negative balance. We have seen it enough, and don’t need to see another minute more.

He opts out of the bowl but comes back for another year.

Keep thinking Milroe might want to come back to improve his status but I think at 4th, he’ll leave for the draft. Also, I assume he’s already making a pretty good salary via NIL but still think he’s gone.

1. Those projections are not serious analysis. He’s not going 4th if that’s in the 1st round.
2. He’s getting more than 2 mil in NIL but surely that’s drying up.

Several announcers of our games and media people this year have said Jalen interviews very well.

Are those white board interviews or personality?

When you've been as inconsistent as he has, you have no business opting out. If he does that, he just needs to go ahead and pack his things and leave. But I would approve it because it's time to move on. I want to actually see who can run DeBoer's offense. We will never win a championship with Milroe as qb.

We won the SEC championship last year with him as our QB. I would love to see him leave the program and take his lank buddies with him.

By the skin of our frickin teeth. There really hasn't been much difference between this year and last year.

I'd rather draft Milroe than Jackson.

At the least with Milroe you get to move on after 2-3 seasons. Jackson has stolen millions of dollars and you can't move on from him despite him never winning any games that actually matter. Plus he owns the locker room. Trade or bench Jackson and it's full-scale mutiny. So in a sense, they're the same. Baltimore is stuck with Jackson until he quits. And all the talent he plays around will be gone. Zero rings.

Still get a trophy, no astericks either.

It just bothers me that people say we"ll never win a championship with ______.

What even is this analogy. Wins arent a QB stat and if Jackson hit free agency every team would be trying to sign him

No they wouldn't. Jackson couldn't play in Buffalo or L.A. (either team), Detroit, or K.C.
Seeing a pattern? None of the teams that actually win playoff games would want him. That's not a coincidence. Baltimore is stuck with him, though.

Is Jackson a better qb than Joe Flacco??

Same with Milroe. Every coach marvels at his athleticism, but winners wouldn't have him. BAMA got stuck with him.
